UNCOMMON FICTION FORMS

Tunneling

A dribble/ mini-saga

She’s still crawling through these endless tunnels. Her hands and knees, dragging for eons, have worn off with evolutionary time. She’s Queen of a grublike and humanoid species. Her whole civilization is following closely behind. “Was that two lefts and a right, or two rights and a left?”, She asks.

A mini-saga is a story written with exactly 50 words .

This mini-saga was written in response to Somsubhra Banerjee’s newest challenge to those of us writing on Medium to try our hand at some or all of these many uncommon fiction forms. Another wonderful set of prompts from Literary Impulse can be found at the following link,

Thank you, LI’s Medium Editors,

Priyanka Srivastava, Elisabeth Khan, and Nachi Keta.

Most of my friends who might write one or some of these forms have been tagged in Somsubhra’s piece above. I look forward to reading some of your work here.
