Fake News
Tucker Carlson Blew it Like Alex Jones and Kanye
Fox News to Tucker Carlson: “YOU’RE FIRED!”

Another day, another shocking event leading to the GOP’s decline. Their house of cards is crashing down. And the latest card is the Joker.
Tucker Carlson has been sacked by Fox News. Rupert Murdoch, the chairman of the board of the Fox Corporation has had enough of Carlson’s wildly untruthful conspiracy-driven broadcasts and seeks to distance himself from any more nonsensical, on-air rants that cost his company hundreds of millions of dollars.
Fox recently settled the Dominion Voting Systems' 1.6 billion dollar defamation lawsuit against the network regarding the 2020 election. Tucker was one of a number of Fox News TV personalities, politicians, and other big players such as Rudy Guilliani who claimed the election was stolen from Donald Trump, and that Dominion was to blame.
A last-minute $787.5 million dollar settlement was agreed to right before the court case was about to start. Media sources such as Fox and a number of others backpedaled their claims of the election being stolen. Some websites removed content that had these baseless claims posted. They were disproven by technology experts.
Turns out that listening to Donald Trump’s wild rants and raves about election fraud is bad for business. When you base your statements on the angry, toddler-like tantrums coming from an aging man-child and broadcast those half-baked conspiracy theories and lies to the world, there are consequences to pay.

Tucker Carlson has now lost an estimated 15 to 20 million dollars a year in salary. He joins people like Alex Jones and Kanye West who are losing their fortunes for publically commenting racist, bigoted, untruthful lies to the media. The three of their losses in future earnings will top over a billion dollars.
Kanye lost an estimated 1.5 billion of his 1.9 billion dollar net worth for publicly stating that he loved Hitler and other anti-semitic rants. He claimed to have love for all people, including the mastermind behind the genocide of millions of people. Kanye lost endorsement deals faster than you can say “Blitzkrieg”.
Alex Jones, a prominent Trump supporter, was sued for broadcasting conspiracy theories about the Sandy Hook mass shooting being fake, as well as others. He’s theorized that the moon landing never happened, that 9/11 was an inside job, and that many crises are staged to further a New World Order’s agenda. He also has given White Nationalist groups support on his platform.
His supporters have threatened and harassed the Sandy Hook victims’ parents and others in a number of horrific tragedies based on Jones’ conspiracy-driven nonsense and baiting of the victims. That was a big mistake, as he was ordered to pay 1.4 billion dollars to 8 plaintiffs in the Sandy Hook mass shooting.
What can be learned from Kanye West, Alex Jones, and now Tucker Carlson?
Perhaps it’s the lesson that words matter. When you blatantly lie and say things with no regard for the people you’re victimizing with words, you will be held responsible. Just because you might believe ignorant, conspiracy-driven theories doesn’t make them truthful.

When you use your giant platform to whip people into a frenzy, who believe this nonsense and use it to fuel hatred, violence, and ignorance toward groups of people, you are responsible for the outcome. When it’s proven in court that you’ve committed defamation and you’re sued for libel, don’t be surprised when you’ve ruined your finances.
Don’t whine and cry about your sponsors leaving you and distancing themselves from your untruthful, ignorant drivel. If your show suddenly disappears along with your 15 to 20-million-dollar-a-year contract, it’s going to hurt. You’re not going to become gainfully employed at some bigger, better opportunity after your parent company is sued for defamation.
That 787.5 million dollar settlement that Rupert Murdoch is paying has to come from somewhere. Of course, heads are going to roll. Tucker Carlson isn’t likely going to be the only casualty of war in this whole ordeal.
The Republican side is crying about free speech. Free speech though has its limits. Similar to how you can’t yell “Fire!” in a movie theater to cause mass hysteria, you can’t also do the same on the air. Journalistic lies have consequences.
Denying the truth about the January 6th insurrection, or claiming that Donald Trump had the election stolen from him may just cost your company hundreds of millions of dollars. And you, your job. Airing racism and bigotry on the news doesn’t help your cause, Tucker.
It’s not going to be easy finding a better-paying gig than your own show on Fox News. Ask Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly how things are going after being fired from the Fox Corporation. Finding new employment that pays more and is as prestigious as working for a giant media company is a long shot at best for a very unlikeable person.
Today, I am celebrating the ousting of Tucker Carlson. As a person who is very much anti-racism, bigotry, sexism, and homophobia, I join all of the decent people of the world who are happy about this latest development. It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving fellow.
The world is sick of this kind of fake news. Biased journalism, spreading racism, bigotry, and hate, and not reporting the news in a truthful manner are becoming less acceptable in 2023. We won’t tolerate this nonsense any further.
We’ve lived through the Trump era. We have resolved to fight against the evil beliefs and hypocritical bullshit from the GOP. The party that keeps trying to take rights away from women, and targets LGBTQ citizens with new legislation that persecutes them and restricts their rights.
Keep pushing good, decent human beings and see what happens. We’ll outvote you, sue you, and hit you where it hurts: Right in the pocketbook.
Racism and bigotry are bad for business. Just ask Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, and Kanye West about that one.
