Trying To Like You, But You Won’t Let Me.
A Poem — Why people (and male ducks) do this.
You talk to them sweetly, you give them food, you want to like them, but they are so rude.
You show them you care, you give them support, all you get in return is nasty retorts.
Are they insane? Do they not see that you are a nice guy; all they want is to flee.
Their minds are a mess. They are always in distress. Nothing is good enough. They want a new dress.
They want to mush you, squash you and hush you. You’re not good enough. In their eye’s you never will. They don’t want your attention, because they are unable to give you an honorable mention.
Then they find a new target and leave you lingering. They do their deeds to another soul. This is their new market to plunder and seed.
This goes for ducks as well. The large male, swells and pounces. The female has no choice and succumbs to his sexual advances. He sits on top of her keeping her down on the ground or under water.
When its over either she runs away or he chases her away that very day.
Someone asked me ‘why do you take duck sex so personally?’ The reason could be the universal agreement that there is male dominance. Women get squashed and males advance.
Maybe I’m wrong but this is what I see at a glance.
