Truth exists (Part VI)
How do you know you are operating under the truths. The ultimate test will indicate your progress in the rebirth of the self.
We know what ticks us. Those events in life shake you and rinse you like a spin cycle, then adds a cherry on top. You can imagine, what could go wrong, goes wrong, not just for one or two minutes, but for the entire day. Those days you feel like everyone, including yourself, is against you.
In a normal circumstance, those bad days last a day. We know it can go longer but typically, sleeping it off does the trick to remove the nagging tick.
When truths are present, that's when the weight of life is off of you, and you strip yourself of the meaningless thoughts and emotions that consume you for a long time, you will continue to have those terrible events, but your being will feel different. Instead of diving into the pool of negativity, you will now see the water and what it's trying to do to you. Calmly, you will step into the water, walk across it, and come out the other side with comfort—a weird but natural phenomenon.
Are you asking us to be robots?
Robots don't have emotions, but you do. We know the phrase, "Be a sponge." Which usually means soaking up everything. One thing we fail to realize is that as much as a sponge can absorb, it can release all of its water with a little squeeze.
Now take that familiar saying and apply all of it in your life. When you are filled with ideas, group thinking, group mentality, and political views, be a sponge and drain that tank so that you can refill.
With all technological advances, we are training robots to be like us, but we don't want to be like them. The perspective should be to be like robots and better.
The result of the ultimate test.
The test provided by nature and everyday life is the ultimate exam to reveal that being alive, alongside our problems, is truth. The result is seeing the present with a clear vision and clear mind. We love the exercise, "what would you tell your younger self?" Being young is to drain the sponge we fill as we go through life and the energy of experience that helps soak up life. Passing the test is the embodiment of truth similar to our youth spirit that we attempt to activate by playing the "what would you tell your younger self" game.
All we have is the present. The past was yesterday, and the future is tomorrow. You are exactly where you ought to be. We are held back because we spend too much time in the past. And the reason we ignore the present is that we try to live in the future. To test this out, just stop whatever you are doing and look around. You will notice that your mind is either in the past or the future and your emotions go where your mind is. We are walking zombies.
Why am I the only one experiencing this?
My wife and I have two kids, a three-year-old and a two-month-old. We all have our emotions and moods, and interests. There were times when I felt down and would release a lot of negative spirit in how I would respond or act towards them. I wanted them to get what I was going through and make me feel better.
The opposite of what I wanted to happen did happen, they would also feel down after interacting with me, and it felt terrible all over.
With truths in my life, the understanding of being present and not carrying those negative emotions around the people I encountered worked like magic. No matter how others are around me, if I am attentive and active in their presence, the mood is pure and honest. We can add habit creation here; by being present today, you are telling yourself and others that you are there for them, and more of it becomes routine.
If you let emotions stay longer in you, you are also building the habit that is driven by emotions in your state of being, and that routine sticks.
If you are always present, then you will experience more with what you have versus what you had or will have later.
So if you feel like you are experiencing truths by yourself, you are on track. People will no longer see your emotions, pain, or limits but will see you in front of them. It's hard to lie and be fake in front of a real person. It's much easier to lie or manipulate if you don't see them as a person.
Real recognize Real.
Iron sharpens Iron.
Love responds to Love.
The opposite of the above statements is ever so real.
Hurt people hurt people.
Hate responds to Hate.
Death produces death.
When you become one with truths, you notice other truths. Everyone has the experience of noticing something for the first time and then seeing that thing all over the place, like seeing a green jeep in your new favorite movie; when you go outside, you will notice a lot of green jeeps.
No guru or spiritual guide will open your eyes; they will point out things to be aware of. The next step is up to you; the one making the journey is you. Truth is in you, your eyes are on you, and your life is you.
