Truth exists (part 1).
For every up, there is a down. For every false, there is a truth.

In philosophy, some skeptics will dissect the above statement and develop all sorts of theories to contradict the narrative. We do not have to dive that deep into the mind to use truth in our lives as intended. I am sure we all have friends who question everything just because they want to and choose to be disagreeably pessimistic.
What is truth? According to Merriam-webster dictionary (link)
The body of real things, events, and facts : ACTUALITY
The state of being the case : FACT
Often capitalized : a transcendent fundamental or spiritual reality
A judgment, proposition, or idea that is true or accepted as true
The body of true statements and propositions
After reading them over a few times, the definition raises more questions than defining what truth is. The best way to understand something is to take a step back and think about what you are experiencing. If I were to ask individual people to give a definition, it would be tough to answer. After a few moments, they will provide something along with the Merriam-webster definition.
To make it easier for people to answer, I can ask for examples of truth, and they will answer those easier the definition of the term. Here are a few responses to expect:
- Children and grandparents tell the truth
- If I can see something with my eyes, then its truthful
- The people in court will come to the truth
- If you can prove something, then its a fact- meaning it's the truth
- The truth will reveal itself
We are very familiar with the above examples in understanding a term we have difficulty defining. It seems backward and hard to comprehend; how can we discuss something we cannot clearly define? We do what we know best and outsource it to experts, scholars, leaders, and anyone willing to put a bow on it.
Without confusion, if there is something we all can share an example of in any form that feels good, we have a bond that connects us without boundaries.
Our way of dealing with the truth is our downfall. If we can agree that truth is universal regardless of having a single definition, then we will share the same base to build upon. How is this not so today? It is pretty simple; we wrote our definitions and dismissed anyone who did not agree with it. How do we fix this from now on? Because it's not sustainable working alone on your terms, look back in history, and you will notice all of those empires that fail. The answer to the question is where the beauty of truth lays.
Truth is in all of us. Groups, systems, and falsehoods will attempt to simplify truths to a belief created by them. Think of your favorite snack. How many variations of them exist? The ones in charge of manufacturing that snack will coat it with all sorts of flavors to keep you coming back to them. In reality, you just want a little piece of chocolate.
Where to begin?
First of all, ask a proper question. I recently read an amazing article on what asking a powerful question can do for your life by Bill Abbate (article link below).

Bill's article touches on powerful versus low-power questions. We are guilty of staying within the low-power questions arena, but we always wonder how our lives are stagnant. To discover the truth and follow its path, we must leave our comfort zone, open our minds, and insource challenging work.
What comes next will be in line with the ultimate truth. Let's look at an athletic. They will train to build endurance, strength, and strategy to be ready for a challenge, which will come in waves and is not always predictable. The goal is to be prepared.
The longer we prolong the discovery of truth, the worst our future will be. We are getting further and further from each other, yet we've always been near the truth. The teachings have been available for centuries; this is not hard to believe because everything we hold onto is derived from those teachings. In music, there is the concept of sampling. Basically, copying an old popular tune, recreating it, and presenting it as the original. This is true in many foundation systems.
We will explore further in part 2.
