Trust Your Intuition- Life Is What You Make of It- Listen to Yourself
Be positive, be upbeat-Always look for the silver lining
Life is what we make of it. It takes courage to do the right thing, to help each other out, and to live our lives in an optimistic frame of mind. We all react to events in different ways.
If we take a moment to reflect, we realize even the most apparently dicey situations in life can be resolved by relying on a healthy dose of self-confidence. This is where intuition comes in.
In any situation, all you have to do is relax enough to trust yourself and your intuition, that inner feeling we all possess that is separate from our conscious mind.
To rely on what your body already knows, rather than filtering it through a pre-conceived set of expectations, statistics, and worst-case scenarios that we may have picked up from the media or casual friends and companions.
Intuition is a marvelous tool. It is immediate and instinctive, and it does not require working through a time-consuming logical thought process. Go with your first impulse.
It is not something you can memorize from reading a book, something you can force yourself to do, or something that anybody can teach you. It comes from within.
It does not have anything to do with reading, writing, and ‘rithmetic. Not something you learn in school. It is not a formal or logical course of study at all.
It is the ability to grasp something immediately and proceed with confidence. It has to do with the soul and the inner calm and strength we can gain from meditation, by writing music or playing an instrument.
By painting, by sculpting, by gardening, by being a poet or a writer. It is all about staying in touch with your inner self. Just trust your intuition.
Because it is a marvelous tool that we should rely on as often as possible.
It is the merging of your past experiences, your ability to instantly analyze a decision, and your willingness to set aside misgivings and proceed confidently through the situation and get on with your life.
It taps into the power of our inner selves.
Many scientists theorize that intuition is a leftover skill from our primitive brains. A technique that we learned as a survival mechanism traveling along the road of evolution.
When we had no choice but to react quickly and correctly the first time.
It is an amalgamation of all the past experiences we have had in similar situations in the past, what is often referred to as a “gut feeling.”
Empathetic, creative people often use their intuition on a daily basis.
Some people ignore their intuition at the cost of their personal happiness.
They sometimes live paranoid fearful lives where they hesitate to turn left or right and end up getting lost. Stuck in the middle again.
Where they mistrust a gut feeling about a person when those little warning bells go off inside their head.
When they sense an opportunity, go with their gut feeling and are positively rewarded.
When they see a person for the first time and immediately know they will end up being friends for life.
It is like an inner compass, a way to sense the future. Not to predict it down to the last detail, but to gain a certain instinctive knowledge of what is most likely to happen. And to act on it.
Certain highly successful business people all had a lot of book learning but when interviewed about the secret to their success, they gave more credit to intuition than anything else.
Their inner and outer nature are in tune with each other and produce a harmonious whole. They have discovered the secret of just letting go, to go with the flow, to trust their basic instincts.
Doubt in life is a big cause of depression. Self-doubt can lead to feelings of worthlessness, inadequacy, and guilt.
When we give in to doubt our inner natures are in conflict with the thinking, rational conscious part of our mind.
So don’t give into doubt. Go with your intuition. Look for the silver lining in every situation.
Your bodies know more than you think. Trust them, trust yourself. It got you this far.
We’ve forgotten more than we’ll ever remember. Trust yourself. We are all connected…
