Thrifty Word Challange #16: Taboo

My family and I were part of a Christian community once. Then hypocrisy and the ability to engage in cognitive dissonance began showing itself ever so slightly every now and then until 2016. The folks I thought intelligent, and of sound mind, completely lost it. None of the moral standards they had held as true mattered when applied to Trump. He is a womanizing pig, a moron, a liar, a narcissist, and so much more. They did not care, “God can use a sinner,” “just locker room talk,” Many excuses and much hand wringing. Life is better without the Religious.
