Trump Denies Launching Giant Maga Balloon
The White House is keeping “all options on the table”
On February 4, United States defense officials announced that they were tracking a large Maga Hat Balloon drifting across the United States. Initially, the Pentagon thought it was a Chinese spy balloon. But closer inspection revealed it to be a gigantic red hat with MAGA emblazoned across the front.
An anonymous source said the balloon was launched from Mar-a-Lago, but former President Donald Trump denied any knowledge of the balloon.
“I didn’t do it, but it’s a beautiful balloon. Probably the most beautiful balloon ever,” he said in an interview with ABC, who first reported the balloon.
The White House said it is “keeping all options on the table,” although defense officials issued strong recommendations against shooting down the balloon and endangering people on the ground.
“We don’t know what’s in it,” a defense department spokesperson admitted. “It could be spy equipment, or it could be a thousand Maga hats. At this point, we can’t risk the safety of people on the ground, either through heavy equipment hurling through the atmosphere and landing on their heads or the chaos caused by a thousand Maga hats landing in a blue state.”
President Biden does not plan to launch his own Biden Balloon, according to White House Sources. When asked at a press conference if the balloon could be a spy balloon or could possibly be carrying classified documents that were concealed during the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, President Biden replied, “I’ve created the best economy we’ve had in fifty years.”
“But what about the balloon,” reporters persisted.
“Yes, I like balloons,” Biden said, squinting into the camera before Jill appeared out of nowhere and ushered him from the room.
While Pentagon officials monitor the balloon, which is being controlled by an unknown agent, Trump supporters have started a truck convoy to follow the balloon as it floats and sometimes flies across the country.
“We think it’s the missing ballots,” one person in a MAGA hat speculated. “This thing is going to blow up and turn the election around.”
The Pentagon has not ruled out the possibility that it is a Chinese surveillance balloon, which has further strained U.S./China relations, although Chinese officials scoffed at the idea that any of their spy balloons would be a large red hat.
Meanwhile, Trump is holding rallies in places where the balloon is hovering. In an interview with The Florida Sentinel, the former president said, “You won’t find DeSantis launching a balloon this big. He would launch a little, inferior balloon. And you know what they say about small balloons.”
