Trump and Covid-19
Coronavirus? What Coronavirus??
Somebody had to do it.
So I took it upon myself to perform this horrid task . . .
I looked at President Trump’s last 5o0 tweets to see how often he tweets about the coronavirus.
TWO times he’s tweeted about coronavirus.
TWO.
And the sole purpose of those TWO was to blame China for the virus.
TWO out of 5o0.
There were 4 others where he retweeted himself with some sort of incomprehensible Trumpian word salad about testing.
(Actually, there were 501 tweets, but he’d deleted one where a man shouted ‘White Power’ in support of Trump. It took Trump 3 hours to delete it — at the urging of White House staff. They couldn’t reach him because he was on the golf course and didn’t want to be disturbed.)
And still Trump claims incessantly that the coronavirus will “miraculously” disappear . . .
