Trip From Cute To Beautiful — Nature’s Magic
Lost 6 kg in just one trek

If you never went through the darkest side of yours, you never knew what is the worse thing that you can do. We never go through the details of whatever we are doing but whenever leave a chance to judge someone doing something wrong.
Why I am saying this?
Because when we started the trek mentor asked us whether we all were friends or strangers.
To his surprise, we said we are all our friends and we are studying for the last 1 year and we also showed them how much support every all are each other.
He simply smiled and then said something.
“you all will see the real face here in the mountains — nothing can be headed and the reality will come across you.”
We all were thinking that he is getting mad because we all were a bit irritating him.
But no one knew that he was actually talking about the real face we all have that we are hiding from everyone.
The fact that we know well but sometimes even we are not aware of how are we going to react in adverse situations.

This is our small group and just like us, there was a total of 5 groups and approximately 40 other friends.
All of us started from here…
I was 59 kg when the trip started and to be honest my goal was not to lose weight but yes I did it.
I can go anywhere but not again to such a trek because I actually faced so many problems there 😂chubby people problems.
I was carrying so much fat with me too😂😂. No one can understand the pain of a chubby girl…
And I never was complimented by anyone as beautiful but I was cute to everyone. Why because I had chubby cheeks.
I am actually a big food loves and cannot resist delicious food if kept in front of me.
So no surprise that I was 50 kg at that time. Every single step for me that I was taking upwards I felt like something is pulling me down. That’s nothing but my own weight.
During my whole journey, I was literally asking my friends how much more steps and they were like only 10 more, and after 10 steps when I look at them they used to say five more.
Such a trap🥺.
I even cried so much so that they will let me rest for some time, but we had to reach the resting point before its dark, and hence so much difficult.
Everything is beautiful when you find peace in the mountains, trees, flowers, beautiful birds, and the wind singing.

That river view was amazing. I was in a hurry so I was not able to click a clear photo but still, every photo has a memory behind it.
I understood one thing, one step in city areas and one step you are taking against the gravity in mountains is way more difficult than you can imagine.
It was difficult for me but I am happy I made it.

So we had full vegan food there, no oil, no sugar, no fast food only healthy food. For fifteen days we had a planned food, which our should you planners decided.
They have experienced professionals and they were not expecting kids like to go on a journey with them for 11800 feet of mountain top trekking.
But still, they took care of all of us and I would say people in mountains are hardworking ❤️.
Their life is much more difficult than we can imagine.
Every single thing that we get easily in supermarkets and grocery shops, for that they have to travel many kilometers that do without any vehicle. Cannot even imagine how they manage to do so.
I feel we all are lucky to have a fulfilled life…
So here are a few reasons for me to lose weight on that trek —
- Not getting junk food and depending upon healthy food daily for nearly more than 15 days. It is just not possible when we have so much delicious food available daily, but when you are in the middle of a forest and have only limited food, even that looks tasty.
- Every morning we were doing enough hard work. Bear by bedding all the body so that it becomes a bit easy for us to climb the mountains. So much hard work may be one more reason.
- We climb the mountains. We were walking from the morning to the evening, non-stop climbing and so much exercise may be another reason behind me losing weight.
So one cannot imagine losing weight while trekking, but it happened to me.
I think crying all my way to the top also made me lose most of my weight 😂😂😂😂.

This is the depressed me after walking for nearly 10 kilometers and getting not even a single piece of pizza on the way😂😂😂.
And that boy behind me was so irritated because of me, as I ate his chocolate on the way. I thought he would not mind but later he was like make a big sad face like I was storing one liter of hemoglobin from his body😂😂.
I even offered him my Diary milk silk, which I never offered someone but he wanted his those delight chocolate.
Anyways I ate that and that’s on its way to getting digested😂.
We did this trekking in 2019 and literally, I still remember all the events and everything that we enjoyed.
When I came back, I saw no change in myself but everyone around me was saying that I lost so much on the way.
Maybe I was not aware because I was seeing myself daily and we cannot see the change in one day, it’s a process.
But everybody around me made me believe that I lost a much, when I checked my weight I was surprised to see that I was 53.
So much weight loss in just 20 days away from home.
Nature is amazing, that I know, but never knew it can even help me lose weight 😂😂😂😂.
Anyways I loved my journey and hope you all also enjoyed my stupidity.
Here are some amazing stories then I went through 🌼.
An amazing story by Dr. Fatima Imam about Toronto Botanical gardens that she feels to be an escape to the love of nature. She has shared among photographs and for me that makes a story alive.
An amazing story from one of my favorite writers on Medium, Marta Henriques❤️. She spoke about her love for Autumn and why she loves it. An amazing writer and the support she gives is just outstanding 🌼.
We are here to create a great community, let's help each other grow as❤️.
I would love to interact with you all in the comments, do share your feelings and experiences🌼.
