Trees are Grieving

… and me too

The great fire in Australia made me sad

We seem to be helpless.

Millions of animals died.

Even if greens are sprouting back out of the blackened soil, it might be a slow death of otherwise fertile land.

Nature does not grow back to the same magnificence as before. New heatwaves make it tough for plants to dominate again.

Trees are Grieving

trees stood tall

starring down to

blackened land

fire rose

restless killing

joyful life

game ran mad

aimless fast to

cruel fate

‘roos leaped wide

as flames climbed up

to their neck

land got dry

all torched by heat

left without shade

trees felt pain

watched in horror

their leaves in grey

Still some of the smartest people are careful or even deny that these disasters are made by men.

Climate change could or could not be man made, why do we not play safe at least?

We need to act just in case the nightmare is true.

But If you do not care about forests, I beg all those smart people to at least acknowledge that the oceans are polluted with plastic.

It is visible.

None of the smartest should tell me that our planet had always periods of plastic pollutions. It is the first one and might be the last plastic pollution to watch for free.

One thing is obvious, we have created the “damage” of our planet by creed and unchallenged trust in science and addiction to materialism.

If you want to be a smart scientist think first before you invent. Just do not invent things because you can. Do not invent the next bullshit just because you are able to do so. Think first if your invention helps us to make live sustainable.

As Einstein said, we can not cure a disease with the same means as we have created the disease. He might have phrased it slightly different, but I think the message is understood.

We are trying to use science to heal the wounds of our soils and waters. We damaged earth with the help of scientific achievements. We might not be able to cure the mess with science.

I am quite exhausted from fighting for the obvious thing to do.

Do not discuss too long, who should put out the fire if you are in a house which is on fire. If you discuss too long you might be eaten by the fire.
