Travel To Hawaii Is Permitted
Even during these times of COVID

Hawaii is a tourist destination
With all the COVID restrictions making travel difficult in many parts of the world, traveling has been curtailed. We just talked with people who returned recently from a trip to Hawaii. We have relatives who are planning to go there next week for a vacation trip. Travel is continuing in spite of the COVID problems.
The family members have had their trip to Hawaii planned for some time. They are thankful that they are still able to travel to the Islands of the Pacific to enjoy the breathtaking views and the culture.

Hawaii boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. The beaches and sunsets are spectacular. There is so much to do and see as one visits the Island Paradise.

Here is some information for domestic travel to Hawaii:
Hawaii’s five-day (number of required days changed on January 3, 2022) mandatory self-quarantine remains in place for only domestic travel from the U.S. and its Territories. Travelers entering the state who have been fully vaccinated may bypass quarantine without a pre-travel test. The vaccination record document must be uploaded to Safe Travels and printed out prior to departure and the traveler must have a hard copy in hand when arriving in Hawaii. The State of Hawaii will also accept vaccine records that are digitally validated by Digital Health Pass Partners (AZOVA, CLEAR and CommonPass). Travelers who use one of the State’s partners to link their digitally validated vaccine records with Safe Travels may enjoy expedited processing at the airport (no secondary visual inspection of paper vaccine records). Having lived in Hawaii for two years and having visited many times, I can vouch for the beauty and enjoyment of a trip to Hawaii. Many people have felt that it is the “trip of a lifetime.” Hawaii is a beautiful group of islands with many contrasts and generally friendly people.

The “Spirit of Aloha” is alive and well in Hawaii. Hawaii relies on visitors and tourists who help to boost the economy. Travelers are welcome currently even during these unprecedented times of COVID.
