Transgender Folk Need Our Help — Stop Behaving Strangely toward Them

Trans people are some of the most ignored people of the community. When they are not ignored, society is not willing to accept them, though they need our help.

It is undeniable fact that they are part of society — as they should be — , so behaving strangely toward them is of no use. In my view, the creator gifted them life, and no one is allowed to spoil it for them.

Societies have given fewer rights to transgender folk, including the rights to find ways of earnings. Transgender people are considered unable to work somewhere. A few years back, governments did not allow them to get an education.

While time has passes and some aspects of acceptance are getting better, things are not yet where they should be.

For example, trans folk are very underrepresented in high-tier institutes. In fact, work wise many are still suffering, having to accept low paying jobs, or surviving though charities.

Maybe we should consider how we can change our attitudes and behaviours towards this part of the population, and figure out how to help.

People are still being humiliated.

Because of the continuous stigma, we still face segmentation in or societies. From one part, we do not interact enough, and with naturality, with trans folk. But also, the pain of trauma and received humiliation is shutting down trans people from seeking interactions with cis-folk.

People forgot the morals and values of humanity. We still don’t realise the ways in which we should treat people of different gender identities. Why not work all together to heal the divide we create?

Transgender people need our support to have better growth, chances for a better life. They need help to establish some position in society.

Moreover, the media and government should help to raise their voice. As individuals, the betterment of our society can only come from acceptance and inclusion.
