Transformation
You don’t see me, but I’m watching over you.

Dear Caterpillar There’s a butterfly in you That you cannot see yet, love You don’t see the wings Or the world from high above
You’re wrinkly and ugly But you came with a promise In time it will be found You must go within your cocoon And not be afraid to break down
You may feel all alone Sat in your cocoon wondering “How do I make sense of this mess? There’s no wings or antennae. I’ll never be a butterfly I guess.”
In the darkness of your little abode You see the light within you. Tiny legs, wings that need to be stronger. You’re building muscle to push through.. Hang in there, just a bit longer.
At the crack of dawn You break through your cocoon Leaving behind your painful past. An empty shell now, that gave you A transformation that will last.
We could all use a bit of self-love in our daily lives. Self-love is transformational. I remember how bringing consciousness to masturbation transformed my life. I loved this piece written by the very talented Sujona Chatterjee. Enjoy!
Thank you so much for your time.
