Maybe you have tried many times to change your lifestyle, but due to your job or routines you were not able to achieve these things. I am writing this because I am one of those people who after a week or so, whether it was dieting, going to the gym or other activities, I was not able to do it. This is until I tried this 30 day challenge that will simply improve your life and after these days are over you will want to use it as a lifestyle.

Every morning try to wake up at the same time and preferably an hour before you leave for work. I know that on weekends the desire is to sleep more but try these 30 days to wake up on weekends the same as during the week. As soon as you wake up try to do some muscle stretching exercises for 10 minutes maximum then go and take a shower with cold water. Even if it seems quite hard what I say after the first 4–5 days things will become much easier. Also avoid drinking coffee first thing in the morning. It is best to drink this cup of coffee 1 hour from the time you wake up.

During the day avoid carbohydrate and fast food, but especially avoid sugar. You will notice that if you give up sugar the first 6–7 days will be extremely difficult because you will feel tired and stressed. After these days your body will get used to it and you will have energy throughout the day, not only when you consume sugar as you do now. Of course during these 30 days you are not allowed to consume any alcohol.

In the evening when you come back from work go to the gym for at least an hour where you can do some light toning exercises or light running. If you don’t have a gym membership you can go for a walk in the park with your girlfriend or close friends. This will help you feel much better mentally and also for your health. After you come back, allocate about 30 minutes for reading, no matter what you read, be it articles on Medium, books or newspapers. Before sleep don’t forget to have at least 15 minutes of guided meditation where you are just with yourself.

Sleep time should not exceed 22:30 because the body needs to rest and the best sleep is from 22:00 to 24:00.

Although it may seem like a tough schedule, especially as it includes the weekend when everyone is waiting to go clubbing, drink alcohol and get some sleep, you are only taking 30 days out of your life. If after these days your life does not change I invite you to return to the routines you had before you joined this life changing plan.

I look forward to hearing from you how you find it and if you are willing to change your life with a few simple routines.
