Transcendental Forests: Planting New Growth — The Origin
One Tree a Day Keeps the Heat Away. One Poem a Day: The Birthstone of May
Welcome to Transcendental Forests: Planting New Growth
On May 11 I started to plant POETREE: one (tree-shaped) poem a day.
This little story was originally intended as the poem of the day (Day 4) but it has slowly and beautifully morphed into something else. It’s taken a life of its own. Just like everything seems to these days.
I am now calling it “The Origin” simply because it explains a bit where these poems come from.
I know that they come from my heart, from my soul, from LOVE. From that deep inner heart space I have created for myself as a result of an intense introspective process I have undertaken for over a year and a half.
And yet…
Even though I am writing these poems, I have often felt that I am only a conduit for something bigger than me: a driving force which has taken hold of me and is controlling the creative process. A voice, larger than me, that wants to make itself heard.
Perhaps everyone who writes feels this way about their writing. As a friend once said to me, “I may have an input, but to claim ownership would be to diminish it.”
And so I let myself be pulled by this Universal Energy because I know that I am but a part of it. That this energy and my energy are ONE and the same. And that we are dancing. We are dancing such a beautiful cosmic dance!!!
The dance of poems, trees, animals, flowers, insects, people, stars, planets, galaxies… … …
The Stardust Dance. ❤
So as I keep writing, I see this process more and more as a way of releasing these words into the Universe. After all, I am doing nothing other than returning them To where they came From:
