Summary

The author of "Transcendental Forests" has embarked on a journey of daily poetic expression, planting a metaphorical "POETREE" by writing one tree-shaped poem per day, which they feel is a conduit for a larger universal energy and a reflection of their personal introspective journey.

Abstract

"Transcendental Forests: Planting New Growth" is a creative project by an author who began writing one poem a day in the shape of a tree on May 11. This initiative, referred to as "POETREE," has evolved beyond its initial concept into a deeper exploration of the author's inner self and the universe. The author describes the poems as originating from a place of love and introspection, a result of over a year and a half of self-reflection. They acknowledge feeling like a mere conduit for a greater creative force that wants to be heard, suggesting that the act of writing is part of a larger cosmic dance that includes all elements of nature and the cosmos. The author equates this process to returning words to the universe, from which they believe the inspiration for their poems originates. They see their energy as one with the universal energy, emphasizing the interconnectedness of all things through "The Stardust Dance."

Opinions

  • The author believes that their poems are not solely their own creation but rather channeled through them from a universal source.
  • They express a sense of humility and wonder at being part of a larger creative process, which they describe as a "Universal Energy."
  • The author feels that their personal growth and introspective journey have directly influenced the birth of these poems.
  • They suggest that all creators might experience a similar sense of being a conduit for a greater force rather than the ultimate source of their creative works.
  • The author equates their poetic process with a cosmic dance, indicating a profound connection between themselves, their art, and the broader universe.
  • They see their artistic output as a way of giving back to nature, returning the words and inspiration to their original source.

Transcendental Forests: Planting New Growth — The Origin

One Tree a Day Keeps the Heat Away. One Poem a Day: The Birthstone of May

Welcome to Transcendental Forests: Planting New Growth

On May 11 I started to plant POETREE: one (tree-shaped) poem a day.

This little story was originally intended as the poem of the day (Day 4) but it has slowly and beautifully morphed into something else. It’s taken a life of its own. Just like everything seems to these days.

I am now calling it “The Origin” simply because it explains a bit where these poems come from.

I know that they come from my heart, from my soul, from LOVE. From that deep inner heart space I have created for myself as a result of an intense introspective process I have undertaken for over a year and a half.

And yet…

Even though I am writing these poems, I have often felt that I am only a conduit for something bigger than me: a driving force which has taken hold of me and is controlling the creative process. A voice, larger than me, that wants to make itself heard.

Perhaps everyone who writes feels this way about their writing. As a friend once said to me, “I may have an input, but to claim ownership would be to diminish it.”

And so I let myself be pulled by this Universal Energy because I know that I am but a part of it. That this energy and my energy are ONE and the same. And that we are dancing. We are dancing such a beautiful cosmic dance!!!

The dance of poems, trees, animals, flowers, insects, people, stars, planets, galaxies… … …

The Stardust Dance. ❤

So as I keep writing, I see this process more and more as a way of releasing these words into the Universe. After all, I am doing nothing other than returning them To where they came From:
