Tranquil Freedom
a medley of my soul
Light years from Here and Now,
there is a cafe at the edge of the universe
Where Love sips tea and winks in whispers
Mercy and Grace delightfully hang out
Hope goes in daily and sits quietly,
her presence bearing Solace
to those longing souls continually seeking Peace.
Favor shares with Faith a common meal and
rescues many wayward souls from Deceit.
Destruction and Judgement eat from the same plate
Kismet and Fate dine together silently watching as
Justice serves warm plates to the porch crowd
Joy and sister Jubilee are always amongst them
Laughing loudly and gustily sings with Beauty
Eating sparingly, Sorrow dines alone
Across the fields of the universe hangs Timelessness
a golden glow of stars and suns, Heaven’s dust
Serenity’s smile leaves shadows on cascading
Worlds of birth and life and Eternities there
at the cafe at the edge of the Universe…
