Train on the Tracks
Choo-choo

When I was a kid I would watch trains go by fascinated by their sound and how they rumbled the ground
Floating down the train tracks their roads of steel those smart works of art
I thought that trains must have been sent from another time and place
Like from the sky or the moon and maybe those trains only arrived at noon
Special trains too for people possibly elephants a giraffe a zebra maybe a cheetah but not like a zoo
Like a gathering of life different species alike
A magnificent train of life that never stops in the same place twice
