Tragicomedy
A poem
We meet different characters In the tragicomedy of life There are many forks in the road Humor, cut tension like a knife
The theme songs plays See the credits roll We love a good protagonist Each person plays their role
Some people stick to the script Whilst others choose to ad-lib This person is stoic and succinct But the friend, effervescent and glib
The audience leans in Is this a character arc? They engage in much levity When situations turn dark
The pilot episode Let the season begin We’re all cheering for you We want you to win
Tragedy and comedy What a juxtaposition Our Creator tells us The Way Oy, if only we would listen
