TOXIC

The epitome of a toxic relationship

I’ve plotted your death, executed you a hundred times.

Our dance changes as the wind chimes.

I thought I knew you, though not at all.

My intuition woke me with a knowing call.

It spoke volumes of your nature.

It spoke volumes of your stature.

Maybe not really what I am after.

As we were nothing but a mistake.

The majority of my life and not your piece of cake.

So walk along, yes go away.

You never did intend to stay.

The strength you have only carried you.

It was never meant for we two.

So take what you want, do as you will.

Know now nothing exists of us still.

My walls are high, solid and strong.

If you can’t get in you don’t belong.

The love you offer is a lie.

Planned and plotted for me to cry.

You say, what love does not say.

For these actions, I will never stay.

So this love you can keep.

You have sewn what you reap.
