Tough Day? Use Your Smile Moments

At day’s end, your brain is mush.

It’s been that kind of day.

How do you leave it behind? How do you repeat it tomorrow?

My strategy is to recall my smile moments of the day.

Here are my top 5 from today:

  • I wore my favorite comfy shoes. (Bringing smiles throughout the day.)
  • I completed a task I had dreaded all week.
  • My best friends invited me to coffee.
  • I talked to a child about their pet guinea pigs.

These are small, not grand, moments in my day. Enough to make me smile.

Smiling has the same health benefits as laughing.

These positive thoughts reduce the stress of the day I just had.

Worrying will not help tomorrow.

Remember the smile moments.
