Summary

Dr. Ang Sung, a renowned particle physicist, was caught using the Hadron Super Collider to heat his cheese sandwich, achieving near-light speed for his meal.

Abstract

In an unexpected turn of events, Dr. Ang Sung, famous for his contributions to the discovery of the Higgs boson particle, has been found using the Hadron Super Collider at CERN, not for groundbreaking physics experiments, but for the mundane purpose of heating his lunch. The discovery was made during a routine inspection when a cheese sandwich was observed travelling at an extraordinary velocity. Dr. Sung admitted to this unconventional use of the collider since December of the previous year, claiming the device produced superior sandwich quality compared to a regular microwave. This incident has raised eyebrows among officials, who are puzzled as to why Dr. Sung would choose such an elaborate method over the staff canteen's microwave.

Opinions

  • Dr. Sung prefers the Hadron Super Collider for its ability to create a crispy exterior and gooey middle for his sandwiches, unlike the microwave which leaves them soggy.
  • Officials are surprised and perhaps amused by Dr. Sung's choice of lunch-heating methods, given the availability of more conventional options.
  • The use of the Hadron Super Collider for personal purposes, although innovative, is seen as unusual and unexpected within the scientific community.

Dr. Ang Sung, a particle physicist whose breakthrough work on the Higgs boson particle vaulted him into the spotlight of the scientific community, has been caught heating up his lunch in the Hadron Collider.

During an unscheduled inspection of the world’s most powerful particle accelerator, authorities were surprised to find a cheese sandwich travelling at close to the speed of light.

Housed inside CERN’s accelerator complex beneath Geneva, the Hadron Super Collider was designed to prove the existence of the sub-atomic Higgs boson particle. Its discovery in 2012 has helped to extend our understanding of the universe.

Dr. Sung confessed that the sandwich was his, and told authorities he’d been heating up his lunch in the 17 mile long super collider since about sometime last December.

Officials investigating Dr. Sung’s lunchtime activities expressed surprise that he hadn’t used the microwave in the staff canteen instead.

In his defense Dr. Sung said that not only does the Hadron Super Collider help physicists search for particles predicted by supersymmetric theories, it also makes his sandwiches crispy on the outside with a deliciously gooey middle.

Whereas the microwave makes them all soggy.
