Here are the top places to visit in 6 neighborhoods of the Metro Atlanta area, including stops at our famous airport upon arrival and departure.

Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport

This major Atlanta airport is known for being one of the world’s busiest. Aside from the long lines through TSA, this large airport offers its travelers a taste of southern hospitality (even if they’re just passing through). Atlanta rapper/actor Ludacris (Christopher Bridges), opened a must visit restaurant located in concourse D in Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport called Chicken & Beer. It offers travelers a mild taste of the south with menu items such as:

· Crawfish and Corn Fritters, Southern Style Fried Chicken, Shrimp& Grits, and Cajun” boiled peanut’” Hummus to name a few.

If you’re just in the mood to grab a drink before the next connection, this restaurant offers local Atlanta drafts as well.

East Atlanta Village

Known for its buzzing bars and restaurants, EAV is a must to explore this Fall. Old Fourth Ward-Ponce City Market & The Belt Line

Ponce City Market is in a historic region of North East Atlanta. The old warehouse was revamped into a large market that includes several restaurants, boutiques, and lofts. The rooftop is home to a retro carnival that features games and entertainment as well, giving you access to slides and and carnival junk food. Plan a full day here to shop, drink wine at City Winery, and grab a bite at the Food Hall. The market is also walking distance to the Atlanta BeltLine.

The BeltLine is a multi-functional trail for those who enjoy hiking and biking. It is still in the process of being completed, spanning over 33 miles. The trail connects some of Atlanta’s surrounding parks allowing you explore Atlanta by trail. The Beltline is a great friend and family activity, not to mention you’ll get in some good cardio.

Inman Park- Krog Street Market

Krog Street Market is located along the BeltLine trail at Edgewood. It offers a small selection of dining and retail. It is the perfect location to grab a quick bite, before walking along the BeltLine. Krog street features these restaurant selections:

·Bar Mercado, Fred’s Meat & Bread, GC BBQ, The Little Tart Bake Shop, Makimono, and Richard’s Southern Fried Chicken to name a few.
