You need to know I was born before social media and this whole social media happened well after. I never got into chatting with people online. I don’t know not seeing their face and not being there just feels disconnected to me.

Woah, slam the brake. I am not here to talk about my social media thoughts. Whew almost went down the rabbit hole there my friends. Insta conversations can be done easily with the help of this app and it builds community for your Insta account. I believe community is such a beautiful thing and that is why I have this app on my 100 list.

I want to go a little deeper today. Community is important. Just like how Medium is a community of people coming together to share their ideas and stories, Insta could be a wonderful place to share and engage in a healthy mindset of people and community. But, most of you are like come on Yohan you know the truth. Yes, my fellow dinosaurs from before the social media age. I know social media is a toxic place but please remember. Back in the day, when this whole social media started it was meant to be good. It was meant to bring people from all over the world to come together and share their passion and thoughts. Woah, I just typed something dark. I deleted it. Huh… I mean social media is just so complicated and hard to put in words you see? It can be a passage to a wonderful community or it can dive into the dark side and become this whole monster that can consume one's soul. It is a dangerous place so I suggest always engaging in healthy face-to-face conversations once in a while if you can.

Sorry, I keep going to my personal thoughts. I just want to end this intro which become a little long again. That it is important to build communities. So, I hope this app helps you with that. In building and not well you know.

• Social Media (yeah I know to me social media is a con haha) But I have new hope seeing Medium there is still a wonderful place to call digital home I guess so yeah social media has pros and cons.
