Augmented (AR) Sound is truly amazing. I have a 5.1 speaker setup in my room and when I hear sounds from the back and front it feels like I am being embraced by sounds. This is extremely important for media fanatics like myself. I love watching movies, TV shows, anime, interviews, YouTube, and more. I also love immersive music where I dive into all of my favorite music. But, AR sound takes listening to sound into a whole new level of listening. I was recently in my conservatory building fixing a computer login and I was invited into the Dolby Atmos Apple Room and I literally almost lost my ever-loving mind of how amazing the sound embraced me. I was smiling like a kid who just won the most amazing prize. Sadly, I will probably never have enough money to build a really high-quality Dolby Atmos room in my lifetime but just experiencing that once is good enough for me.
Now I have presented Dolby Atmos. Many of you who aren’t audiophiles, probably don’t know what this probably means. Dolby Atmos is a Speaker setup where there is usually one center speaker and two front speaker towers with one tweeter facing the front and one tweeter at the top. Also, you will have two or four side speakers again with tweeters facing the front and at the top. Also, you will finally have two back speaker towers with tweeters in the front and top. The setup changes depending on the speaker company and you also usually get a subwoofer as well to finish the Dolby Atmos setup. Usually, the setup and speakers change depending on each company but what I presented above is a jest of what it means.
