London is well known for its vibrant, colorful street markets where you can buy almost anything, often at bargain prices. There are a variety of food options available in the street market and there are many different cuisines to try- Caribbean, Dutch, Mediterranean, Mexican, Italian, Indian, and Chinese. The best part was a lot of variety for vegetarian and vegan were available. The main attraction there is Nelson’s Column. It’s a great place to take beautiful photos -from the famous Trafalgar Square lions to the beautiful fountains. On the north side of the Trafalgar square, there is a national gallery. Trafalgar Square also has two beautiful fountains which make this place very lively and happening for the tourist. In the night Fountain lights in the Trafalgar square gives a vibrant look.</p><h1 id="69ae">6. Visit Covent garden</h1><p id="1218">Covent Graden is one of the best areas in London. There are a lot of things to do and explore. Covent Garden is right in the heart of London’s West End. Within this piazza, there is a myriad of shops, restaurants, and a pitch for singers and musicians. You can watch live performances in Covent garden.</p><p id="e75b">Surrounding the piazza there are many things to do- markets, museums, theatres, street performers, restaurants, bars, and shopping.</p><h1 id="986d">7. The clock tower looks beautiful at night when the four clock faces are illuminated.</p><p id="3f4f">Big Ben is located at the north end of the Palace of Westminster, and its 96 meters in height, and also contains the second largest four-faced chiming clock in the world.</p><p id="87fa">These are the must 10 places you should include in your itinerary when visiting London. After moving to London I have realized London is the most expensive city in the world. London is famous for its art, architecture, food, fashion and there are a lot of things to do for the tourist. It is the most visited city in the world.

If you are visiting London for holiday, wondering what to do in London, I will help you save money in London in this blog post. I am sharing my tips for the visitors to do amazing things in London for free.

1. Visit free Museums in London

There are lots of museums in London to choose from and most of them are free. The Museum of London shares the history of the capital city through galleries, exhibitions, and displays.

I would suggest visiting museums and galleries during rainy days so that you can save your sunshine days to visit any other tourist spot. I have made a list of some popular museums which I am also planning to visit during my kid's summer holidays. Entrance to all these are free but you have to book your tickets online before visiting.

London trip would be incomplete without watching the Changing of the Guard Ceremony. This is also one of the famous ceremonies in the world. The official ceremony starts at 11 a.m. The ceremony occurs daily during summer June and July, but only a few days a week during the remainder of the year. Check the dates and times on the website before you plan to go.

3. Walk around London’s iconic bridges

London bridges are the most iconic in the world. It has 5 bridges over the Thames river. River Thames flows through southern England, through 9 counties, and is the second-longest river in England. I would recommend taking a free walking tour of the Thames River and where you can see these famous bridges-

  • Westminster Bridge
  • Millennium Bridge
