Together Again
A poem about seeing family and friends again after lockdown from the coronavirus

Together again A far cry You may say But Hey We can do this Slowly.
Distant memories of Leaving our homes Seeing family And friends Sitting on the grass Sitting on the sand Enjoying life Like we should It isn’t that Far away.
Flamboyant In the sun With friends And loved ones Grandkids and all Jumping Into the sea Relaxing Laughing Giggling An exquisiteness Of time Coming back To us soon.
Shock, horror, A pandemic Evades us A Ding dong You may say A lockdown Messing with our Heads Our mental state Making us Lifeless And Daydreaming Bored silly Watching films TV shows And reading Our favorite books Will it come to an end?
But hey We care Because Freedom Is close And We will have those Around us One day soon So, Be ready To be free, To see Loved ones Smiling Grandkids playing Making memories All over again.
Enjoying the Excitement with Loved ones Jumping in The bay To the end Of the day!
