Today’s Walk.

Simple enjoyment, Peace and Contentment.

Walk forest’s trails many years, Never same, Birds know me, Magpies sometimes walk with me getting snacks, Kookaburras watch me and sometimes laugh.

Light changes, Each quiet step unveils and hides familiar shapes, Textures and twists, Vivid color contrasts, Muted pastels, Perfect harmony.

Sunlit rustling leaves reveal wind’s direction and intensity, Creating ballet of reflected and filtered rippling patterns dancing with my footsteps.

Rain mists and heavy showers still forest sounds, Hush while forest drinks, Rivulets form, Twigs and insects float together.

Forest’s heart beats to seasons, Connecting all within its bounds, Feel its pulse in every step of every walk, Heart and mind renewed and cleansed opening me once more to Gaia’s blessing.

My forest walk, same for decades now. Yet every day is different. Photo by John Rose today.

Been years since Gaia’s first blessing, Now when contemplating living beauty feel deep-down same blessing of contentment and inner peace.

My little snapdragon forest beats with forest life and Gaia’s blessing.

Blessed be.
