Those large creatures — the humans — are an interesting lot

They come in all shapes and sizes — some cool and some not

In many instances they resemble apes — the way they walk upright

Some are active in the morning — and others uptight at night

The nice ones want to take care of us — and feed us pets each day

And for that good deed dear readers — we keep them company-as pay

But then there are the monsters — who throw rocks at wee pussycats

These monsters are a kind of vermin — yes no better than rats

Yes life can be like a lottery — you might be lucky or otherwise

You might find some humans are truthful — or others that tell lies

Just like here on Medium — we have the good and the bad

Yes those who clap and run — yes their lives must be sad

But thankfully most people — from the young to the old

Usually care for one another — and to me that is gold

Yes I have observed humans for a while — since my birth by the sea

And the one that I love most — Yes his name is Seaspray D

However there once was a time — when he did not like any cat

He would visit his daughter — and Mr Peanut her cat — that sat on the mat

Peanut’s furry orange skin bag — would make Seaspray D develop a sneeze

And for that he would have to swallow a pill — to put him at ease

But I Pussycat Lady Donga — am now pleased to report

That now his eyes don’t go red & itchy — or out his nose a dribbly snort

So I put this all down to my feline magic bag — my bag full of tricks

And in return when he can — he tries to vax me for fleas and for ticks

Yes it’s just like cat and mouse game — as he chases me around the house

He tries to grab me by the neck — and thereon give me a good douse

A douse with this smelly chemical — that I don’t like at all you see

Yes its this game with my dear human — that kind loving man Seaspray D

Dear readers I am not an anti — vaxer — I understand its for my own good

Or take shots of Pfizer or Moderna — as they say some humans should

But in the end when he catches me — thereafter I really don’t mind

As long as my Seaspray D loves me — as long as he is kind
