To My Younger Self — 10 Years Earlier
Things I wish I knew then
My dear one,
I know that you have always felt like you did not belong.
You have always been misunderstood.
Your propensity for truth-telling is not always received in the manner which you intended.
But you must continue to speak for those who may not have a voice.
Know that your strength of spirit comes from your deep belief in a higher power.
He has shown himself to be faithful and true and you will love and trust Him forever.
I love that you always knew your own mind and that you are not easily influenced.
I admire the sacrifices you've made to live mostly on your own terms.
That is as it should be.
You’ve been created with an inalienable right to live as you desire, so long as it does not hurt yourself or others.
You have gone through many tough battles, but that has been mere preparation for what lies ahead.
According to the dream God gave you at the age of 15 years, you will become the mother of three children 😨.
I know this is not in your plan, but trust me, the little one will bring so much joy to so many. He will change the world in so many ways and because of him, you will grow in ways you never thought possible.
Spread your wings and fly.
You need not be fearful for you are made in His likeness. He has called you and he will give you the strength to be all he has created you to be.
Many will appear with destruction as their sole purpose, stand firm, you are an overcomer.
God will keep you safe from harm, always, though you stumble you will never fall.
He will always be there to carry you when you feel you can no longer walk.
You are loved beyond your wildest imaginings as you are a lover of many.
You will be proud of who you have become, though you have a lot of growing yet to do.
Trust your instincts, they will show you the truth.
Keep loving and always give life your best with the determination you have always had.
This is YOUR life, continue to live it in peace and kindness.
and
Remember to just LIVE.
