To My Life…

A Loving Husband is Far from His Beloved Wife

Dear wife,

I know we are far, Miles away from each other.

I’ll bring the sunny days Back again.

But don’t you worry My Love! It is a matter of a few days.

You’ll find me in dark You’ll find me in light

Love of mine Will reach all heights

Try to feel my love Near you.

Which I have sent In the air I found.

I am helpless As you are.

I’ll bring the sunny days Back again.

But don’t you worry My Love! It is a matter of a few days.

Let’s close our eyes And recall the days, Of bliss and joy, And some little pain.

I am sorry if Ever I may have hurt you

But least you know That my love for you Knows no bounds.

Now I have sleepless nights, And days without sunlight Because it was all you…. My sun, moon, and sky.

Let me promise you I’ll bring back those days.

But first my darling, Let the clouds go away.

I'll shower my all on you, As you know it I am nothing without you.

I’ll bring the sunny days Back again.

But don’t you worry My Love! It is a matter of a few days.

You were rigid When I lost hope, You were firm, And standing strong.

But now I am lacking support and Don’t have the energy to stand.

I know you there Feel my powerlessness

I’ll bring the sunny days Back again.

But don’t you worry My Love! It is a matter of a few days.

Yours & Only Yours, Veer’s Pappa.

NOTE — This was a WhatsApp message which I wrote for my wife much before I knew anything about Medium. We were away from each other and I simply wrote my heart out in a poetic form to make her happy.

My wife and I have completed four years of love and joy. So, I thought, I must share this with my Writers’ family.

Thank you very much, Neerja, My Wife For completing me When I was incomplete.
