To Hold That Titty, You’ll Need To Hold Me First
Boundaries make dating easier

There is one thing that remains true with all generations of men. If there are boobs in the room, they are going to look at them. Oh, they will try not to look, but they will. It does not matter if they are Boomers, Gen X, Gen Z, Millennials, or Alpha.
I once again am glad I’m a long-married woman. I wouldn’t say I really enjoyed dating the first time; I was clueless like many people. There were no discussions about dating in my parent’s house. My mother’s advice to me when I started dating: “Keep your legs closed.”
These days, with dating apps proliferation, breast-groping, and near sexual assault, discussions are more open. When you head out on an online date, you are seeking companionship, but are you seeking sex? Are you seeking a physical encounter or just a cup of coffee and maybe a pastry?
Now, girls learn to clearly set boundaries on a first date, including titty touching. Men, for some reason, still misread signals when it comes to breasts. In their male minds, all women’s breasts want to be fondled and squeezed.
Setting the boundaries early, especially in today’s 2024 Tinder and Bumble world, makes for a better dating experience. It opens the door to conversation about other physical expectations in a non-threatening way.
I remember the conversation I had with my daughter when she started growing breasts. “Don’t let anyone touch your breasts. This is another private part of your body, just like your privates. Boys will try to touch them or rub up against them. Push them off you aggressively and yell ‘fire’ so everyone turns around and looks at you. Say the offender’s name and yell, ‘Stop it’”. This will put any would-be touchers off their touching game.”
At the time, she thought I was blowing smoke, but I knew she was growing huge tatas like me. She felt it was gross that males were so attracted to titties. Every woman has a technique to stop bad decision-making men from trying to grab a handful.
Years later, my daughter successfully used my technique at a football game where an obnoxious ex-boyfriend was disrespectful. It shut him down immediately. Her response caused other spectators in the stands to move away from him and watch him for the rest of the game.
My niece’s technique is to tell her dates in a light-hearted fashion — ‘ in order to hold that titty, you need to be holding me. That means there will be no chest activity, yours or mine unless I am in your arms.”
She says that discussion eliminates attempts to grab a breast because it is there. Most of the time, the discussions then delve into their expectations for physical contact for the current date and any others. This conversation reduces the opportunity for misunderstandings.
So, there you have it; if I ever need to start dating again, I am going to bring up titty holding in a non -threatening way to gauge the expectations of my date.
With any luck, I’ll die before I need to start dating again, but you never know.
