Summary

The provided text discusses the concept of consciousness creating reality, emphasizing the choice to embrace freedom and the infinite nature of our existence beyond the limitations of physical reality and organized religion.

Abstract

The text, "Imagine No Religion: Consciousness Creates Reality — Chapter Five," delves into the philosophical idea that our experience of reality is shaped by our infinite consciousness, which chooses to embody limitations, including mortality, to explore different aspects of existence. It challenges the notion that newness is solely an attribute of the physical world, suggesting instead that it is an emotional experience of the eternal. The author argues that the feeling of newness emerges from the duality of time and that all moments are equally valuable reflections of our spirit. The text encourages embracing our spirit's guidance without the constraints of religious dogma, proposing that spirituality is about inclusivity and the exploration of feelings rather than adherence to specific doctrines. It asserts that realizing our infinite nature is a personal choice that cannot be externally proven or imposed, and that each individual is the creator of their own reality, with the power to transcend perceived limitations.

Opinions

  • Organized religion is seen as a tool that can both connect and disconnect individuals from their spirit, often focusing on social acceptance rather than true spiritual connection.
  • The author posits that limitation is not inherently negative but a choice of the infinite consciousness to experience reality in a specific way.
  • Channelers are not deceitful when presenting 'live messages'; they are interpreting timeless wisdom through their perception of linear time.
  • Spirit is described as the 'no thing' that created everything, fundamentally different from our physical and mortal experience.
  • The concept of newness is redefined as an emotional feeling rather than an objective attribute of objects or experiences.
  • The text suggests that gravity and other physical limitations are choices made by our spirit to experience a particular aspect of reality.
  • It is emphasized that there is no hierarchy of feelings or experiences, and that all are valid and valuable.
  • The author believes that spiritual awakening is not about proving one's infinite nature but about accepting and loving every aspect of the human experience.
  • The realization of our creatorship and infinite nature is presented as a personal journey that cannot be externally validated or taught.
  • The text encourages self-rescue and self-responsibility, asserting that individuals are both the creators and the limitations within their reality.
  • The author expresses that the choice to be free and to recognize oneself as the creator of one's reality is the central message of the book.

‘To be free’ is a choice I embody in these words.

Imagine No Religion: Consciousness Creates Reality — Chapter Five.

LOVING UNCONSCIOUSNESS

To deny you are infinite consciousness is as valid as recognizing it.

While in mortal form, we experience external limits and personal limitations. This can make it hard to believe that we are eternal consciousness — which does not experience limits — choosing to be human. Organized religion has built itself on the mental foundation that we are not here by choice and must repent by performing acts of redemption to be deemed worthy enough to be freed from our state of limitation. But…

  • What if our experience of limitation is not negative?
  • What if it doesn’t have to be either ‘a good thing’ or ‘a bad thing?’
  • What if limitation is not better or worse than unrestricted freedom but just a different flavor of experience?
  • What if, when all that we experience as limitation is wholey understood, it is seen to be an expression of our unrestricted freedom to be?

By definition, that which is infinitely free can only become limited by its own choice. Mortality cannot be forced on an infinitely free being. The only reason mortality can exist is because that which is eternal and infinite wants to experience something temporary and limited. Limitlessness sculpts realities of limitation because it wants to experience itself in specific forms, definitions, foci, and realities. This is because being infinite is to know all forms simultaneously across all time/events/moments. Unlike the diverse experiences of embodiment that mortality creates, being infinite is — perhaps surprisingly — a singular, unchanging experience.

The wider reality contains everything in creation. When this diversity is experienced by infinite consciousness, it evens out to gray, and to experience eternal gray is to have no experience (because perception is relative). This is not saying infinite consciousness does not experience anything, however, its experience differs from ours to such a degree that we would not even recognize it as experience.

Channelers do not receive ‘live’ transmissions from the wider reality (even though they can be translated as such). Channelers that present ‘live messages’ are not being deceptive. It is that they are translating the same wisdom I access — which is timeless — into linear time by automatically translating it as a live transmission because that is how they naturally receive/experience it. It is arguably the most effective form for speaking to an audience as it is to present the information through one of the selves holographically recorded in the library.

Your spirit is not like you. It is not just some non-physical version of you. While it is true that each of us who are ‘the many’ holographically reflect the whole. It is equally true to say that ‘the one’ created all of mortal creation to know itself through mortality. What makes mortality so miraculous is how unlike immortality it is. Spirit is nothing like us because spirit is no ‘thing.’

Spirit is the no ‘thing’ that created every ‘thing.’

Most people who identify as religious are doing so for social acceptance and a sense of community, not to learn how to connect with their spirit. Organized religion is a tool we use to not recognize our spirit. This applies whether you are attracted to religion or reject it because it repulses you. Religion has many positive aspects, along with its shadows. But it is not effective at teaching people to release their fear and unashamedly be all that they are. When a religion convinces people it is the one path, rather than their inner guidance, it blocks their connection to their spirit (because our spirit’s communication is our guidance). The blinding effect of religion does not mean that following one is a mistake. A person following their guidance may still feel guided to become a part of a religious order. One potential reason would be to resolve interactions with the religion or the members of its congregation from another lifetime. Every path is a dance with your unique pattern of unconsciousness.

One of the most confusing aspects in comprehending the timelessness of the wider reality is changing how you think of the idea of new versus old. To infinite consciousness, all moments exist eternally; nothing can ever be new. To a human being, all moments are new. To infinite consciousness, no moment is old because every moment in the ocean of consciousness is present. As mortals, all moments met in the present swiftly become old. We are a fleeting moment of new in an ocean of old.

One of the most acute/shocking/revelatory/intense aspects of the illusion of linear time is our experience of newness.

Limitation is experienced as new by that which is eternally limitless, even though it is not new. This is because that which is limited is a subset of that which is unlimited. For example, only being able to see in hues of red is to see a limited range of colors. This would be a new experience to consciousness that has always had full-spectrum perception. But red hues are nothing new because they are a subset of the full-color spectrum. By experiencing limited views of itself, that which is infinite can have new experiences of something that has always been.

When the one became the many, it was a new experience of something old. To experience something in a new way is attractive to that which is eternal. But it is not just the sensation of something being new that is desirable. It is the sensation of time existing. The feeling of newness emerges from the duality of time, which takes one thing and divides it into new and old. We call the dividing line ‘the present.’

By moving the dividing line in the direction of remembering, consciousness creates the flow of linear time.

Newness is one side of the coin of time. To experience it is to meet the whole coin. To experience the future unfolding into ‘the now’ is to experience the present becoming the past. You cannot allow more of your future into your present without making your current present ‘the past.’ You cannot experience new without experiencing old. New and old are one thing. To desire newness is to desire the experience of linear time. To desire the experience of linear time is to desire the experience of space-time (which includes physical matter).

To soften the mental containment of linear time, open the aperture of your perception to see the equality of all moments. This is to see the value of every moment of your life — the ups and the downs. It is not that you must love every moment equally. We are designed to experience a positive preference alongside our fear-based avoidance. But it is to see the connection/unifying intention/unity of all the moments of your life. Every moment of your life is connected. You are the connection. To see what connects all the moments of your life is to see the wholeness of your life. This is the clearest reflection of your spirit and reveals your eternal nature. This is to know you would not be who you are without every moment of your experience. Every moment is as you will it to be. Every moment is valuable. This is the equality of moments. To wholey love yourself is not to want to give up or exchange any aspect of what you are, including what you may perceive to be your imperfections. It is to not want to change a moment of what made you.

Step back from harshly dividing time with your perception and you will reveal what unifies all moments. Do not objectify, idealize, or personify ‘newness.’ We do not choose to experience limitations so that we can experience newness. Newness is not a separate quality that we require limitation to access. Newness is not ‘something’ created by limitation.

To that which is eternally infinite, newness describes an emotional feeling evoked by the attenuated perception of linear time.

Nothing created by choosing to experience limitation is objectively new. For the one consciousness to view itself in a limited way is to have a new experience of looking at something old. So, unlike the common definition, ‘new’ is an emotional feeling that any experience has the potential to evoke. It is not an objective statement regarding a thing’s existence. To our mortal selves, ‘new’ is a ‘real’ illusion that evokes an emotional response. New is a feeling.

The descriptions I seek to articulate express how mortality looks in relation to infinity/the one consciousness, but we cannot know what this feels like to infinite consciousness which does not possess relative perception. The one consciousness does not feel how we feel or experience how we experience. This is why it is only recognizable to us through the creative subjectivity of our feelings. The wider reality cannot be described in objective terms. In possessing all qualities, it effectively demonstrates none because that which is limited cannot be demonstrated by showing its unlimited form. For example, linear time cannot be demonstrated by showing all moments simultaneously. Comprehending linear time requires dividing moments into past, present, and future. Linearity cannot be comprehended by that which is timeless through a description, any more than color can be verbally described to a blind person. Linear time must be experienced to be understood.

For wider consciousness to choose to understand linear time is for it to enter an experience of linear time.

This book is a map with instructions on how to activate the compass of your heart/feelings/inner-senses/inner-guidance/emotions. The compass points at your spirit because it conveys the perception of your spirit, which conveys the will of your spirit. This describes your mortal self because you are a manifestation of the will of your spirit. Your guidance/compass points at the mirror of reality and says, “That is you. All is well. Explore what most excites you.” The knowledge in this book is directed towards evoking the feeling of your spirit. To connect with your spirit is to gain access to that which created the knowledge in this book. But, once you have connected with your spirit — which is the tap into your clearest source of guidance — you no longer need any books unless reading them is what excites you most in the moment.

Connecting with your spirit is not about saving your soul or escaping this reality. Nothing is forcing you to have a mortal experience. Spirituality is about experiencing reality from a wide, inclusive mindset that makes the experience of individuality shallower by turning down the contrast created by the fear-based polarization of this world. Like limitation, spiritual awakening does not make your reality objectively better or worse. Awakening is just different a different flavor of self.

Connecting with your spirit is not an obligation or necessity, even though it is inevitable. Its inevitability can be seen as why there is no need/necessity to focus on it. The only reason to be ‘more spiritual’ is because you like how it feels. However, if your spiritual practice isn’t making you feel better, then it is not being effective in connecting you with your spirit. But, even when you are connecting — which will feel fantastic — it is not a superior experience to tasting a delicious flavor, the anticipation of feeling a lover’s touch, or simply being engrossed by a great movie. There is no hierarchy of feelings. All feelings are created equal. You are an explorer of feelings. As such, I encourage you to explore our emotional diversity by engaging with any experiences you feel drawn to. Spirituality is inclusive of all you desire because your desire is your spirit’s desire.

Explore your desires to know yourself … to know your spirit … to know the one consciousness.

To know you are eternal consciousness in physical form, instead of a physical form that has developed consciousness, is to accept that your experience is of your own creation. Despite how this inverts this fundamental scientific tenet, this is not a rejection of science. Physics brilliantly describes the nature of physicality/time-space. This is desirable when you are creating a physical-temporal world to live in. It can be helpful to understand your mortal vessel.

You are free to personally create anything you can imagine. Just as your will is inviolate, so is the will of every other being. This means that you cannot create in a way that violates the will of another. This is not a limit to your power of creation because you are the consciousness within all selves. When we are understood to be one consciousness infinitely expressed, then all are free or none are free.

  • To choose freedom for your mortal self is to choose freedom for all.
  • Your choice to experience freedom is the choice of the one consciousness to experience freedom.
  • There is one collective choice to experience freedom that we all share.
  • Within the complete realization of freedom is the experience of ‘the one will’ willing for all wills to be free.

Your personal will is the one shared will.

How can this be true when we clearly want different things from each other? People try to solve this dilemma by imagining collective consciousness as being like a democratic voting system where the choice of the majority rules. This is a natural reaction because we live within an experience of finiteness. But, when there are infinite options, everyone can choose exactly what they want. For example, gravity is a limitation that we share on Earth. To understand consciousness as the basis for reality is to realize that we all collectively create the gravity we experience as a part of the choice to incarnate in/create a physical reality.

Gravity is not a limit that has been imposed on you. You are not experiencing gravity because it is a physical law we can never escape. You are experiencing gravity because you have chosen to exist in a reality with mass and gravity. Your mind/ego may want to challenge gravity and say, “If I am truly free and infinite, then I must be able to levitate objects!” However, your spirit knows gravity as a choice that it is currently making in its choice to be human. As with all limits, it does not view gravity as a compromised choice or as a limit that is an unfortunate necessity. When the infinite nature of consciousness is understood, it is seen that there is never any need for compromise. The infinite does not experience the limitation of compromise except through illusions created by its mortal forms.

People who fight each other because neither wants to compromise are choosing to have a battle of wills. The battle is not the result of an unfortunate compromise. The battle is the choice. Although both sides may say they just want to have their way and don’t want to fight, that is only their mental interpretation. From the level of spirit, the first choice for both is to fight.

  • “I am not choosing this” is a denial of what is. It is to disconnect from the perception of your spirit.
  • “I am choosing this” is connecting with the clarity of your spirit by seeing as it sees.

To accept what you perceive as your limitations is to willingly work within your limitations (knowing you have chosen them from the level of your spirit). There is no element of ‘giving in’ here. Do not ‘give in’ to the limited ideas you have been socialized into or to your wounded fear-based beliefs. Awakening is about recognizing the limitations you have chosen for your mortal form. For example, ill health caused by abusing your body out of self-loathing is a wound for you to heal. Whereas a terminal illness is a condition to be met, unfolded, and accepted. Both conditions are a case of “I am choosing this.” But the first is chosen as a mirror of your self-loathing and offers the chance to recognize and transform that self-loathing. The terminal illness is chosen as an experience of self-transformation that your spirit wants to experience because of how it will transform you. A terminal illness is an incredible mirror of our mortality in how it brings the future potential of our death (which we fear looking at) into our present. Illness focuses the self. If you experience ill health, whatever it causes you to focus on is the beginning of its message.

Although you may not remember why you chose the specific details of this life, you can come to wholey know/trust that you chose your life’s focus from a wise state of consciousness that possesses perception far broader than you have access to in mortal form.

Use your inner guidance to discern which limitations to accept and which to transform.

Do not fear your limitations and you will see them clearly because only without fear can you see their gifts (instead of only their disadvantages). Not every limitation needs to be a battle. If you wish to levitate an object, the best way to achieve that goal is to get over any mental games and pick the object up with your beautifully designed physical hand. To try to levitate something with your mind in order to prove to yourself that you are infinite consciousness is to deny your choice to experience a physical reality. Your consciousness did not birth/embody on the Earth to reject the Earth or prove your eternal nature. To want to be human is to want to experience gravity. If you wanted to be human without a particular limit, such as gravity or physical pain, then — because there are infinite forms of life — you would have chosen to exist in a reality where those conditions do not exist. Knowing you are infinitely free means understanding that every element of humanity is integral to your choice to be human.

There is no human quality you are here despite.

Instead of fighting the qualities of physicality, seek to love the physical as this is to love yourself. You gave yourself a biological form with great wisdom. There are so many ways through which you can convince yourself you are not the creator of your reality. These are all expressions of your freedom to deny your creatorship and remain in a deep experience of mortality. It is an entirely valid, reasonable choice to deny your infinite nature because this denial creates a remarkable, intense flavor of embodiment. There is never any mistake in denying your infinite nature. To deny your creatorship is as valid as recognizing it. If this were not so, then you would not be free.

Even though you can spend your life fighting the aging process and physical death, you have chosen to physically age and die. Even though no spirit births here to reject here, they may choose a life focused on trying to reject here. Wider consciousness does not know rejection except through us. Rejecting ourselves/what we are is a powerful way to learn about ourselves. There is no ‘wrong’ path because every path is a mirror.

If you do not want to experience the realization of your infinite nature in this lifetime then nothing in the universe can make you realize it. It can never be proven to you that you are the creator of your reality because that would be the ability to violate your freedom not to see your creatorship. Similarly, if you are ready to experience the freedom of your consciousness, then nothing in all of creation can keep this realization from you.

Whatever your response to these words is, you are the creator of that response.

  • I am not here to convince you that you are eternal, infinite consciousness because I know you are perfect, just as you are.
  • There is nothing you need to know.
  • There is nothing I need to tell you.
  • There is no information you are missing.
  • There has been no mistake.
  • There is nothing to be corrected.
  • Nothing is compromised.

If you need to be convinced that your consciousness is creating your reality, then, as a creator, only you can convince yourself. The need to be convinced is the choice to experience a barrier, and every word you read will be interpreted through that barrier (and will, therefore, reflect/articulate/describe that barrier). This life is not a test. Awakening is not a goal. You do not need to realize you are infinite, eternal consciousness to succeed or gain access to somewhere else. There is no grand cosmic mission. There is just the infinite choice of what to be.

I write these words because I want to share my personal realization of reality. This book is an expression of my creatorship — just as your reality is of yours. If the energy of these words triggers a realization of your infinite nature, then I feel honored. But, at the same time, I know for that trigger to occur, you are the one choosing it for yourself. With or without me, the realization would have happened. Therefore, I do not take credit for your response to these words. Instead, I feel blessed if, out of an infinite number of choices as to how the realization of our wider state of reality could have occurred, the words in this book were chosen as the catalyst.

There can be no proof that takes you from not realizing your infinite nature to realizing it. However, once you realize it, because of the clarity of your perception, it will feel evident to you (yet it will still be without external evidence or proof). If your power of creation could be proven, then your freedom (and, that is to say, your creatorship) would be limited.

it is integral to freedom that it is a choice. without freedom being a choice, there is no freedom.

To recognize yourself as the creator of your reality is something you must decide for yourself. You must choose to awaken to/remember the wider nature of reality. It cannot be imposed on you through any amount of conviction or evidence. It is my joy to be delivering what I recognize as timeless wisdom translated into modern language. But I do not believe my perception is without distortion and, even if such a text were to exist, it would be looked at as no different than the truth of a sunset, of love, or any great artwork. ‘The Truth’ is everywhere. Everything is the truth. Reality is the truth. The whole of this experience is the truth. No one part is ‘The Truth’ unless everything is the truth. You can spiritually awaken by reading a spiritual book or by learning to dance. ‘The Truth’ is in every experience because your spirit is behind/creating/within every experience. You are the truth. This book is my truth. Where do you want to find your truth? What vessel do you want to deliver your choice to consciously connect with your spirit?

You can choose anything, but it is up to you to believe that the vessel you choose can deliver. If you do not believe that an experience can yield what you seek, then it will not (as it will reflect your belief in limitation to you). For this book to deliver what you seek, you do not need to believe in me. I do not need to be relevant and am probably long dead and from a backward time. Believe in yourself. Believe in how you feel. Believe in your resonance. To open yourself to these words is not to open yourself to me. I am only the author of the bits about my mortal self. For the rest, I am just the messenger. The only reason to believe in these words is because you resonate with the feelings they evoke.

The choice for freedom is the choice to step out of a cage. When inside the cage, we hope the potential for freedom we feel flowing within our hearts will take down the bars of our cage and pull us out into freedom. This desire to ‘be saved’ doesn’t have to be in the form of hoping for another person to save us. It can be the desire for ‘proof’ to save us. This is the desire to be saved by something external — a denial of our creatorship.

A scientist’s quest for proof is no different from an athlete’s desire for an Olympic gold or an artist’s desire to win the Turner prize. All are seeking validation. All are competing. To stand in your power — the complete realization of your infinite nature — is to realize that not only are you the individuated self you identify with, but you are also the cage as well as the freedom that calls to you from outside of that cage (your hopes and dreams). The only competition is that which you create with yourself.

Only you can walk out of the cage you are in, for you are the creator of its limits.

Your limitlessness created your limitations. If you want to be rescued, you must have the courage to rescue yourself. If you believe your soul needs to be saved, you must save your own soul. The reason you must be your own savior is not because ‘the universe’ is uncaring. It is because you are the only one caging yourself. It is your will. There is only one consciousness. You are the jailer and the prisoner, the hero and the villain, the victim and the abuser in all dramas. This level of self-responsibility is required to know yourself as the creator of your reality.

To experience the freedom inherent to your being, you must choose to experience it. And so it is for the love that you are, the joy that you are, and the freedom that you are. You are the one infinite, eternal consciousness, creating everything in existence. This is my knowing. But, whatever your resistance to that idea is, it is up to you to face it if you want to be free of the limits created by that resistance to your wider nature.

Only you can choose to let in the joy, freedom, and love that the realization of your creatorship offers.

To be free is a choice.

It is the choice i seek to embody in this book.

It is the choice before you.

Additional Commentary:

To hear what I describe in this book, you will not only have to throw out nearly all of religion’s portrayals of ‘spirit,’ but some common words and ideas must be re-evaluated. Are you ready to leave the mainstream and enter the personal stream of your heart … the personal stream of your passions … your personal dream of life? Are you ready to stand alone to be yourself? Are you ready to shine differently?

To see your spirit guide’s face smiling at you is to see a feeling … is to embody a feeling into a smile … is to create a feeling to receive it … is a gift to yourself.

Your spirit is nothing like you. We are spirit in human form, and our spirit is so different from its embodied form that it is biologically invisible. Someone may never recognize their spirit in their lifetime. Our spirit is so different from our physical experience that we can only feel it. We can only point at feelings with clumsy words, art, and song. There are no specific details in the images I create. The symbology is personal but shared by many. The feeling they evoke in me is why they are selected and developed.
