My story has a complex order, not a logical one, but if you open your heart, you’ll feel my words going straight to your heart. I am calling it “The Game” because this is where all the action is. So are you ready?

The Green Grapes

Once bitten, twice shy, don’t let the sour ones be left for you to try.

A certain class of people start treating you differently by holding on to you. They stick fast because they know who you are about to become!
Do you know how and why this happens? It happens only because of you.

You have shown them the juicy green grapevine which you are growing for yourself.

They see it differently… acting as creeper mites, they will scramble up your home and the walls on which the creeper is growing.
Don’t wait for them to cause permanent damage like bitterness and various diseases, which last lifetimes.

So if you don’t treat this on time you will be living in the termite world, built with them in a joint collaboration, wherein you are the sleeping partner.

The Unmasking

Learn to know the difference at work, if you wish to excel and succeed at it.

Always remember that work associates or anyone at all whom you are paying to work, are not your friends.
Learn to maintain the distance and do not expose them to anything more than the sphere of work they need to do.

Do not travel along or eat with them, until a situation demands.

Don’t discuss everything, minute details, and plans with them as it will only cause you more harm in the long run.

Right from start keep them where they belong.

The Mousetrap

Who gets caught and who eats the cheese?

Any person coming to you for a job, a request for hiring or work of any kind-remember has come just for that.
They can be your potential employees or future suppliers but they can’t be your friends.
Please don’t introduce them to anyone, and don’t let them think that way either. If you do something like that, you’ll be the losing party.

Remember the saying- “There are no free lunches.”

If they offer you a good discount, it’s not because they are friendly to you. It’s because they could afford it and had that margin.

So don’t set a mousetrap for yourself in which only you’ll end up eating the cheese and getting trapped in it as well.

The Egg Basket

Your eggs, your basket — your way!

Some people say sweet things and show off their knowledge, to trap you in their game.
You must understand things yourself before letting others say things or giving them a free hand.
It was always their plan, so don’t put your eggs in their basket.

They don’t need to know how many eggs you have or need and how you like your eggs every single day?

I believe that majority, anyone other than your immediate kin is out to stab you.

Else, instead of you eating your choice of eggs daily, you would eat only what they serve you.

The Jack of all Trades

It’s all about time management.

Overly smart people are doing what you can or anyone else also can do. They will give you the information in a way you will think and get convinced that only they know it.
But, if you sit and carefully check, it would be the google information, page three and beyond.
Believe me, even if you give a 15-year-old that topic and a few hours to get you all the details from the internet, they can do that too.
And yes, the older they are, the smarter they are and they can give you much more reliable information than those people.

Just because they know how to use their tactics, they are playing their game and cards well. You have laid open your deck of cards for them to pick and choose from.

And now they will want to win this race ..so to avoid that keep them barefoot.

Don’t give them a pair of running shoes to overtake you.

The Smooth Operator

Always be wary of the smooth talker.

Don’t waste away your productive time on unnecessary talks and calls … just because on the other end is a smooth talker of the opposite sex.
Don’t get all excited about what they are proposing, thinking that they will come along for free.

All they are doing is trying to sell their product via themselves.

In that hope each time, only you will be at a loss as every person working behind selling the policy, doesn’t come free with it.
All you would gain are a few benefits for entertainment.
Other than that, along with the money you lose, you will lose your reputation and standing if not in society but surely in the eyes of your people. Don’t let their smooth tongue make you a look like a fool.

The Conclusion

Always remember that outsiders are outsiders and anyone whom you pay to do any work for you, has to be kept at a distance.

And yes, most importantly, always use your smartness to find out the creepy people.

If they want to hurt you, you can use their wicked ways against them.

Play their games with them, keeping them at bay, not with your loved ones who stand by you.

So are you ready to hit it out of the ballpark to win in the game of life? Put your best foot forward and let all troublesome thoughts fly away from life!
