I am tired of running, Always running… but not being able to just run away.

I am tired of running, from my yesterday, from my today and tomorrow, from happiness and sorrow, from light and shadow. Tired of running away from me, that’s in you. from you, that’s in me.

I am tired of my over-working lungs, ready to burst, always burning, as if mocking me to breathe again. Telling me that it’s time. Time to stop and think.

I am tired of my swollen feet, Another victim of my cowardice. cracked like my gist.

I want air to fill my lungs, to soothe my thirst again. It’s true, it’s time to let myself in, to hold my hand and let myself stand.

Let’s run some more to finally pause and feel. this time for tranquility and peace. this time, let’s face myself.

But I fear because I am not sure What I will find.
