Using Natural Ingredients to Remain Younger and Healthier
Yes, YOU have that POWER
Many of us who are getting up there in age, want to look younger and also live longer. But there are a number of factors that decide all that. Our family history of illnesses, the lifestyle we lead, environmental conditions we live in, the food we eat, and also the medications we take. Well, we cannot change what’s in our DNA, but we surely can change what we eat, drink, where we live and what we do. Through the centuries, there have been many people who have wanted to remain young and live forever.
A little history lesson before we begin. Spanish explorer Ponce De Leon was one who they say went in search of the Fountain of Youth in what is now St. Augustine in present day Florida, but never found it. Many people have tried to come up with potions or medicines to apply on the skin to remain young. Some worked, some did not, even made people age faster. Some resort to plastic surgery and that makes them look even worse.
There was one woman living in 1500s Hungary, who they say, used to bathe in the blood of young virgin girls to keep herself looking younger. Accounts of this story were written many years after she died, so there are debates if this is true or not. However, the legend persists and movies have been made of it.

Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed was a noble woman from Hungary who owned land in what is now Hungary, Slovakia and Romania. She was born in the Báthory family in 1560, married to Count Ferenc Nadasdy in 1573 and became the mother of eight. Her husband died in 1604 at the age of 48. Accusations of purported atrocities began between 1602 and 1604 throughout the kingdom and in 1610, King Mathias II assigned people to collect evidence. Over 300 witnesses were collected. In 1610 she was arrested along with four servants who confessed under torture and the servants were quickly executed. The countess was placed under house arrest and she died in 1614. She was accused of killing over 650 young virgin girls and bathing in their blood to retain her youthful appearance. However modern scholars debate if such accusations were true due to the fact that the servants testified under torture and also possibly due to her extensive wealth and ownership of large areas of land in Hungary. There was also evidence that of religious and political conflicts and that Mathias owned a large debt to Báthory, which was cancelled after the countess was arrested. Many say that she inspired Bram Stoker to write Dracula in 1897, but Stoker’s notes do not give such evidence.
Thankfully, nobody has to go through such drastic measures to stay young. But here are some ways to stay young:
