Tiny Head Tricks
There is so much noodling that happens in this teeny little brain.
Inside this tiny brain of mine always thinking, thinking, thinking about my tiny stack of cash always shrinking, shrinking, shrinking
Inside this little brain of mine always on the go there lives a little calculator saying, “No! no! no!
“Do not live as others’ live!” it tells me every day do I long for pedicures? more than I can say
Inside this tiny brain of mine a conflict is at hand spend every dime I make or save it with a plan
There is a little, tiny brain it has so many thoughts ‘bout budgets, love, and spending and a hundred trillion oughts
Little tiny brains need love and tender words to soothe them
Instead my mind uses quiet time to shout “You can’t afford that ramen, stupid!”
