ARC OF THE IMMORTALS Book 2

Time Rifts 57/Destination Gibraltar Bridge

Feelings of Paradise and Hell intertwined.

Previous Chapter:

Shisla finished repairs and made tests on them.

He moved the two passenger seats closer together. The seats touched. The pilot’s seat and command pod moved to the starboard beam of the craft. The three hatches shifted to match the changes.

“I’ve shut down the transdimensional lounge to conserve power. Your seats are as close as I can make them. While I lift off keep your seat harnesses buckled. Once we are airborne there will be a sign to fasten or unfasten the safety harnesses. Clear?” Shisla’s voice was calm and steady.

Jac and Touzdae sent thoughts of Understood and Clear to Shisla. He whooshed and Acknowledged to them both with a thought.

He flew the craft four to six feet above the beach and the ocean sideslipping between the two.

A giant disk-shaped ship materialized near the moons of Jupiter. Kurtz, a blonde woman — the new Number 8, and a being of the Newt species at the helm were on board. Kurtz commanded the master plan. First a destruction of Mars and Venus’s atmospheres. Second — creating an illusion of a thermonuclear war on Terra-Earth to instigate a real war.

The engines kicked on. Shisla drove the craft up a rock ledge and onto the natural stone Gibraltar Bridge. The orbital laser beams fired on the bridge ahead. Shisla angled the craft straight down ninety feet and leveled off. It was an abrupt change — three feet above the water’s surface. The craft rocked back and forth avoiding spikes in the EM field. It sped off on a tangent as the lasers began a targeted search. The thin craft passed through a maze of EM eddies and barriers. Even the target lock of the lasers was scattered by dense and chaotic fields.

“You’re looking for something,” Jac said through the com.

“Derelict floating barges,”

“Can I help?”

Shisla transferred a navigational screen to his position.

The craft moved back away from the strong EM fields.

“I sense something,” Jac said. “The sensors won’t be able to detect it until we get closer. Look at this sector.” He tapped the sector on the screen — highlighting it.

“I concur, thanks,” he banked the craft back around and came in a low vector above the water’s surface. The generators fluctuated.

“I see it,” Shisla cried out peering through a small portal. He cut out the mag engines and engaged the plasma drive. It coughed spurted and went to full throttle. The thin craft sliced down. It plowed onto a long barge. The momentum sent it forward through the water. The electromagnetic EM disturbance- ahead. The barge sped along as the plasma continued until the engines stalled, coughed, and quit. They drifted.

Shisla popped all the hatches and deployed a makeshift sail. It failed to adequately work. They drifted toward lava flows in the shallows of the sea. The barge glided toward a blurred energy configuration. Jac checked on Touzdae.

“What now?” Shisla asked as the barge grazed a slow-moving steaming lava flow.

“I need to see your navigational array. The arc’s tensile strength and electromagnetic amplitude are dense. We have to find an entry point,” Jac said.

“I know a way,” Touzdae sat.

Startled, Jac and Shisla looked at her.

“I can help,” Touzdae said hopeful. She sorted through an array of thoughts in front of her.

“Do I need to restart the Transdimensional Access?” Shisla.

“Yes,” she nodded.

Shisla disappeared below for a few minutes.

“Ready,” he popped his head above.

The vehicle hovered at the edge where one streamer of the arc shot skyward from below. Jac stood on the edge of the hull. He jumped feet first into a wild streamer — part of the arc. The recoil from Jac’s jump threw the vehicle backward and away. Automatic countermeasures shot out of the craft to protect the hull and level the craft.

At the helm Shisla and Touzdae dazed.

Jac descended through a strong harmonic field. Tu Mai appeared multiple times as illusions.

He kept his focus on the mission going forward.

Jac walked through a strange forest of the tallest trees he had ever experienced. When he looked up he could not see their tops. It seemed to be part of the illusion, but he wasn’t sure if it was coming from him or from somewhere else.

The trees ended at the side of a mountain. He climbed up the rocky slope to a lodge. The door was open. He peered within and then stepped inside.

Tu Mai appeared smiling. Jac stopped. Cautious. Tu Mai faded.

Another illusion, Jac thought.

The Elohim channeled energies and thoughts through Touzdae. She intervened as frustrations peaked within Jac, about to explode.

Touzdae shared her experience of the Elohim with Shisla and Jac. Honored, Shisla, Jac, and Touzdae relayed a simultaneous thought to the Elohim and each other.

Jac and Tu Mai ascended within a vortex above Tu Mai’s impossible prison. The white light surrounded them. It was blinding. Angels descended from the Elohim. They began a blending of spiritual father with spiritual son.

When the angels and the Elohim completed the blend, the golden arc destabilized. A new smaller Earth based time arc formed and grew.
