Time is Ticking, You Only Have a Month

The madness that has managed to consume humanity in the past two years is staggering in the breadth of its stupidity, when we try to perceive ourselves as an evolving species.

Current humanity appears as a confluence of ‘mad dogs in the summer sun’ encompassing: Trump’s radical effusions splitting American ideology pursued by mobs all for the sake of wanting a piece of a fabricated draft-dodging orange buffoon, along with the infection of an equally destructive disease COVID-19, and supported by the madness of the megalomaniac Putin with his scorched earth desire to be a legend on his own map.

With just these three rabid entities circling, our time draws perilously close to a tipping point. Ignoring the time bomb that is climate change, the despot in North Korea, and the crumbling economies that are scattered across the globe, one would find it hard to be an optimist.

Can we plan for a family gathering at Christmas? Should we even enroll in higher education if the schools may well be obliterated along with the hospitals? Can we even make it to graduation as there may be little to no fuel to drive the old banger to the ceremony?

With money being printed without due consideration or conscience by numerous leading governments and tossed like rice at the wedding watched by Elenor Rigby, will there be any possibility of purchasing a loaf of bread with anything less than a barrow load of notes?

Putin is an opportunist. Like all opportunists, he makes his luck. Putin has sown the seeds of media discontent by backing Trump and playing him for the egotistical fool Trump is. Spreading an infection of the mind and morality he has fomented a sense of irresponsible “MeFirst” thinking in the social fabric of America. This sense of ‘self above all else’ has split the nation politically while Trump attempted to fraction NATO.

With winter coming Putin has arrived to decimate Ukraine, a country that plays a key role in European oil and fuel supply. His timing will affect fertilizer availability worldwide sending crops to low production levels. Ukraine, itself a major producer, will stagger with loss of manpower, equipment, shipping, and infrastructure. The world will be very hungry in six months.

Enter the new restyled Russian Bear… thanks to Putin.

Who can stop him? Will NATO rush in, jets blazing and tanks spewing fire? Will Ukraine be the new killing fields? Spilling Western blood in Ukraine is a step too far, and instead, limp economic sanctions will attempt to poke the bear. The world will go hungry before the bear gives in.

Where is China, another country eager to surge into world dominance? It is letting the mad dogs scrap and maim each other and will waltz in calling debts due and flooding markets with an unstoppable tide. China will fly like a Phoenix over the decimated fields of Europe, Africa and North America.

The time frame? Crops fail in mid-summer. Holiday-inspired COVID resurges all while the planet we are attempting to spoil as a species snaps back at humanity with heatwaves and an assortment of natural disasters.

Makes you wonder if you want to book that Christmas chalet, doesn’t it?

What is the recourse?

Our greatest asset is ourselves.

Populations must unite beside the Ukrainians fighting against the madman, Putin, and inform the Russian people of the madman at the wheel.

Promote a social conscience toward each other and take responsibility for our planet and our species.

Will that happen?

I have not booked a flight as we are all paying for humanity’s devolution with the stupidity of a select few, who aid in the poisoning of the many.

Thanks for reading. Kevin
