Time — we choose to measure it, in Minutes, hours, days, and years. Counting it, and counting upon it; Each round darkness fades into light, We’ve one day lesser — one more to go.

Calendars affirm it’s importance Beyond people, beyond perception Beyond scales that we can glance It's ‘time’ that gains all attention As a measure of human existence.

We who devised these measures - Fall within but a tiny fraction So, our fleeting human lifetime - Mine, yours, and all of ours For the Earth is but a second.
