Time Away On A Vision Quest — Back To The Land
Will be away from Medium for a few weeks
It is time to go explore the land
Preparation, taking care of Business and Goodbye for now…
The countdown begin last weekend…packing begin the week before…final pieces of the puzzle being completed now.
Happy Days to my wonderful Medium Friends and Family. In just a few short days I am leaving for a vision quest for a few weeks. I have been preparing for this event for months.
Yesterday I received a gift of the necklace in the picture from a friend for the occasion. She had made the pendant and the painting that is inside and beaded the necklace herself. Her kindness brought tears to my eyes.
I also received another gift from another friend yesterday taking me to a surprise place where you can pick a ceramic figure paint it and they will glaze and fire it for you. What you think I picked?
Well, of course it was an 🐘.
Here is a little guy that will be added to my collection once he is completed. My friend will pick him up in 5 days, all shiny and ready and she will keep him for me until I return. What a beautiful gift.
Well, lets get back to business now.
While I am gone our wonderful and amazingly talented editors of Dancing Elephants Press will take beautiful care of the submissions to the publication and any questions you may have. I would like to thank Dr. Preeti Singh, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles and Annelise Lords for filling in for me while I am out on the land. Please be patient if your questions or requests might take a little longer, your editors will get to them as soon as they can.
I will have no cell service and no internet access for about two weeks. This will be my last article for a while as I am doing final preparations to leave later this week. I will still be reading articles and editing and posting submitted articles for another few days.
On my return I am prepared to have many messages and many things to catch up on and please be patient with me until I can get to all of them. I will also need a readjustment period back to society again.
I am very honored to participate in this activity and would like to say a thank you to the Veteran Rites — Circle of Return and Rite to Return organization who allowed me to participate in this event.
The mission of Veteran Rites:
