Literary Impulse & Paper Poetry ‘Eudaimonia’ Prompt Submission
Tick Tick Boom
Alternatively, Boom Boom Tick

Tick, tick, boom, Or was that boom, boom, tick? Aristotle’s sitting in on skins in this tune, He’s laying it on thick.
Righteous quivers, Soulful shakes. I’m feeling rivers, I’m feeling lakes.
Paper and Pen, I’m hearing the call. Every now and then, I hear it in the walls.
Aerobicized thoughts breed coming attractions, Leads for my senses. Propagating chemical reactions, Breaking lyrical fences.
Cannot fence in, Cannot contain. Why pretend? There’ll be no reframe.
Writing ‘bout hills, ‘Bout lands far away. Employing the quill, A hard day’s pay.
Cognitive well-being, Put a pin in that there. Chronicle sight-seeings, Tastes in the air.
We’ll get there my friend, Just you wait and see. A profoundly enduring, joyful end, And a toast to the journey!
Boom, boom, tick, Or was that tick, tick, boom? It happened so quick, This harmonic, supersonic, eudaimonic, everlasting bloom!

Thanks to James G Brennan for the nomination. I’d like to nominate the following 5 writers for the “What does Eudaemonia mean to you?” challenge if they are up to it. I very much enjoy their writing and look forward to reading their spin on this topic.
Patrick M. Ohana, David Rudder, E. Scott Alighieri, Shalini C & Terry Mansfield.
