Thunderstorm
Nothing prepared us to it

Nothing prepared us for what followed. We left under a blue sky without a cloud. When suddenly the sky turned black And a thunderstorm broke out, Like I’ve never experienced before. We had to run and lie down in the nearby field Beaten by the wind, whipped by hail and drops.
We grabbed hold of each other’s hands on the ground. Then sun came back and we were able to stand up, soaked, Bruised and dizzy, happy to be still alive after the disaster.
