Three Tips to Speak English Without Thinking
Everyone wants to speak English but only a few know that it’s just a matter of mental preparation. There are just THREE TIPS which can help you to start speaking English. Let’s get started.
First Step
The word ‘There’ can be used in three different uses:
As a Pronoun (to present the sentence’s subject. It is also known as a ‘dummy pronoun’): In the kitchen, there is a spider.
As an adverb: (to present the place) Please wait there until we return. I want to go there. What’s happened there?
As an interjection: (to express your expression) There, that didn’t hurt so much, did it? There, he told me she wouldn’t mind.

Now, ‘there’ is a second word that helps you to make a start on your English speaking practice. Whenever you want to say something, start with the word, ‘it’ or ‘there’. ‘there’ can be followed by both singular and plural verbs, such as ‘is’, ‘are’ ‘was’,’ were’, ‘has’,’ have’, ‘had’, and ‘will’, ‘shall’.
For example:
There is a lot of nonsense. There has been a lot of dust. There are some apples in the basket. Look, there is Chris. There is a full moon, today. There was no business. There will be fun today. There is no hurry. There is much time left. Is anybody there? There were twenty short questions in the paper. Is there any other suggestion? Are there any other suggestions? There seems to be a lot of fun. There seems to be a lot of confusion. There comes a time in everyone’s life when one takes big decisions. Long ago there lived a man. There was a big mark on his chin. Children love Disneyland -.they love to go there again. There is a big city. etc.
There are hundreds of sentences you can make. It will keep your mind working and you will feel no hesitation to make more and more easy and short sentences. Such short sentences will train your mind to get ready to respond. Your mind will automatically guide you gradually, and you will come to know that you have learnt the skill of speaking. (“Speaking” is the second stage of learning the language. The first one is “Listening.”
Second Step
Use of the Pronoun, ‘It’
The Pronoun, ‘it’ is one of the words that helps you to make a start on your English speaking practice. Whenever you want to say something, start with the word, ‘it’. It can be followed by a singular verb, such as ‘is’, ‘was’, ‘has’, and ‘will’.
For example: It’s Thursday, (today). It’s nice weather today. It’s been nice to see you. It’s I. It is he who wants to go there It’s you. Is it you out there? It’s really urgent. Yes. It is very right. or simply to say, “It is” It’s nice to meet with you today. It’s been nice talking to you. etc.
There are hundreds of sentences you can speak. It will keep your mind working and you will no hesitation to make more and more easy and short sentences. This is the training of your self-motivation. It needs no extra effort to make long sentences. Your mind will automatically guide you gradually, and you will come to know that you have learnt the skill of speaking. Third Step
Use of infinitive ‘to’
‘to’ can be used in the following different ways: before the basic form of a verb to form the infinitive:
For example: I want to go home. It’s nice to see you again.
As a Preposition (followed by a noun): We drove to Newport.
As an Adverb (without a following noun): I pulled the door to.
Further examples: I hope to see you next Sunday. This question is easy to solve. This matter is not easy to understand. I didn’t know what to say there. Sara’s decision to retire from politics was not completely unexpected.
Its multiple usages will help to make many sentences because ‘to’ is used as an infinitive (the subject, object, or complement of a verb, or is the complement of an adjective, noun, or pronoun) in both written and spoken language.

Vocabulary:
Last, but not least is the issue of vocabulary. The solution to this issue is very simple. You just have to translate the name of the object you see around you.
For example:
There are many things around you to see and listen into your mother tongue. Just replace those words/nouns with English wording or words. It can be a ‘road’, ‘tree’, ‘wall’, ‘book’, ‘table’, ‘mat’ or any gadget. This practice will help you to develop short sentences, and gradually you will be able to make long sentences, too. It’s just a matter of thirty to forty days of practice only. Read and try to learn by heart those sentences. I assure you there will remain no hesitation or hurdle to set you right on the way to speaking English confidently and fluently.
