Three Powerful Factors Made Me Love This Power Food More
Garlic

Years ago, I wasn’t sure what to do with my smelly garlic fingers. So I sometimes avoided using it when I actually wanted to put it in my food.
But once I knew how to deal with it, I could cook more with it. And I enjoy more with it because I feel good after having it.
These three factors are that made me love garlic more.
Factor 1. Kitchen, Smell, I Crave It, and Trivia
The smell of cooking garlic in the kitchen makes you hungry. It’s hard to resist and follow the smell to the kitchen. It stimulates your brain. You associate the smell with the food you had before.
“What are you cooking?” I ask, sometimes. “I’m hungry.”
Even when there isn’t cooking. You crave garlic. Your body may need the nutrition it has such as vitamins B6 and C, iron, calcium, and so on.
When I had to go out, I used to avoid cooking garlic by myself because of the smell I couldn’t get rid of. Other people might have not noticed, but I did.
One day, I believe I was watching a TV show, and it was talking about how to get rid of the smell from your fingers after touching garlic.
Next time, when I was cooking brunch with garlic in it, I tried. And It worked! To eliminate the smell on your fingertips, you can coffee grounds. Yes, the leftover from making your morning coffee. You grab the used coffee grounds with fingers you just used cutting garlic cloves and rub for a few times.
I was so surprised. Instantly the smell disappeared. And later on, I saw a chef on TV who was also doing the same thing!
I guess that’s how people think about garlic.
Factor 2. Super Yummy! I Can Use for Anything and Help My Budget
From Italian to Asian foods, I can almost use it for any dish I can make except dessert.
I can use garlic oil I made the days earlier. How I make it? Easy. Chop or slice it, sprinkle some salt, add olive oil, then warm it in the microwave for about a minute (warm garlic first if you have a lot).
Then what I do with it? I put it in my yummy bowl of breakfast in the morning, on pieces of toasted bread in the afternoon, over any cooked dishes and soup in the evening.
See, dishes can be simple and tasty.
Once you make it, it lasts for at least a few days. If you can grow it by myself, it’s even better. Once I tried eating it right after pulling it out of soils. It surprised me. It was super juicy and tasty!
I get to cook homegrown garlic these days and it’s been such a good money-saving.
And thanks to Mrs. T. for sharing some garlic from your garden!
Factor 3. It’s a Superfood with Many Potential Health Benefits
It not only gives me energy but many other potential benefits such as maintaining good blood pressure and preventing disease.
Last year it was also reported to have several other benefits. Such as good for immune systems, skin, and even hair.
I guess it’s sort of chain reaction of garlic — people, cooking, smell, memory, appetite, food, eating healthy food (moderation, moderation), energy, move/workout/do whatever you need, and hungry again then enjoy the delicious meals again.
As any garlic lovers may have experienced, eating raw garlic or a bit too much can cause stomach bloating or even a stomach ache. Like any food you take, take it with moderation. It is the key to better health.
