Three Cool Things Daffodils Can Teach Us
A tale of flowers

Although only 1.5 miles away from my home, I ran into Jensen Botanical Gardens six years ago and discovered the winding path flanked by olive trees.
Today, during my five-mile run, I noticed the first yellow daffodils in full bloom, while the wild white daffodils have been in bloom since early January.
As my sweet teenagers like to tease me “curious Carmen” strikes again, upon some research, I found out that daffodils are thoughtful teachers that illuminate our paths with their colors and wisdom:
- We can create energy just like daffodils use their leaves to create flowers for next year.
- The physical healing powers of daffodils can simply reverberate with our beings and heal our souls.
- As daffodils are pest resistant, we might learn to reject human pests that shade our sunshine.
