Three 10-Word Stories

Accepting a challenge

Nikolaos Skordilis has invited me to a challenge which I happily accepted.

Here’s a picture of a bird that looks like me (disheveled red hair and still a bit round) when I wake up and question my life choices.

Why did I choose a bird as a cover photo for this article? Well, because birds tweet and chirp, and 10 words are very few like a chirp. I feel like a genius now.

It’s definitely very hard to write something impactful in only 10 words, but here are the three 10-word stories I came up with:

1. The rose was still on her grave. No more nightmares.
2. They headed towards the beach. A scream froze their blood.
3. Nothing could stop him now. The sigil was already charged.
