Thoughts On Igniting My Manifesting Capabilities
Response to Tuesday’s prompt
In the beginning was the Word… John 1:1 KJV Bible
I don’t normally begin… well, anything… with Biblical quotes. Not that I do not find wisdom in the Bible, but I am more of a ‘Christ Consciousness’ believer than a Christian and I gravitate more toward Buddhism and Taoism than Christianity. However, this quote is essential to my overall theme here on manifestation — the spoken word. (Yes, I know that Christians believe the reference of ‘Word’ here refers to Jesus, but just follow my thoughts here).
When we speak, our words become vibrations and vibrations become actions. To follow the Christian theme here, God spoke creation into existence. The entire first chapter of Genesis has God saying what He is creating. There is power in the spoken word and I believe it is powerful because of vibration.
Vibration is energy and intention
Up until I was 20, I was a practicing Christian, but even then, I didn’t understand manifestation. Yes, I was taught to pray, but prayer was under the breath or in my head. Prayer was always just a conversation with God, not a means of intention. It wouldn’t be until I began studying Wicca that I learned about manifesting my needs and desires by creating spells and vocalizing them with intention. The more determination and intention I put into my words, the greater the chance my spells would manifest whatever I was seeking.
I slowly turned from Wicca to Buddhism in my late 20s and discovered chanting. Om Mani Padme Hum was the first chant I learned as I focused on meditation as a means to cure my anxiety. As I spoke these words repeatedly, I noticed how my entire being vibrated. I became electrified and my anxiety would dissipate. At that time, I didn’t understand Sanskrit, so I had no idea that the words I spoke meant Praise to the Jewel in the Lotus and it would take me decades to understand that my rainbow body (caused by raising my vibration to a higher realm through chanting) was that Jewel in the Lotus.
But the real lesson here was using the intention of spoken words as a means of manifestation
There is a saying that whatever you put out into the Universe returns to you. In Wicca, this is called the Law of Ten — whatever energy you send out returns to you ten-fold, so you always want to put out good energy, not bad. Buddhism has similar themes. The Law of Attraction that is used in many religions now means the same. And, the use of Affirmations draws upon this as well. And all of this is the use of the spoken word vibrating energetically from us to the Universe with clear intent to manifest our needs and desires.
Good Vibrations isn’t just a song; it’s truth
Many studies have been conducted on the use of sound vibrations to create sacred geometry — such as sand vibrating at certain frequencies on a metal plate and beautiful words spoken to water. Our ancient ancestors understood the Earth’s own vibratory abilities and built sacred structures of worship along ley lines where the vibrations were the strongest. Architects used sacred geometry in their churches and temples that intensified the vibrations of music, song and chants. And until modern history, all structures were built with stone that contained quartz crystals, which also vibrates — creating energy and intent.
In conclusion, whenever I think about igniting my own manifesting capabilities, I now know that I just need to speak or chant the words with clear intention. This allows the energy of my words to flow from my mind and body to the Universe where all things are possible.
