Poem: Masculinity

Daily Dose of Philosophy

Inspired by G. Michael Hopf’s Quote.

“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And weak men create hard times.”

The attributes men show, The dying song of yesteryear, For now, these qualities are low, Remember! We used to hunt deer.

Now we know not how to swap a tyre. We care more on looks, Then we do on how to fix the wire, We don’t even dare to sit next to brooks,

What will men become? Only a few are willing to stand, Are we going to succumb? It feels like we have been outmanned.

Worry not we are not a drain, Men will be men once again.
